Patience In Islam

Patience In Islam

O ye who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear Allah; that ye may prosper. [3:200]
"And be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient" [8:46]

The Arabic word for patience is sabr and it comes from a root word meaning to stop, detain, or refrain. Being in patience is requried in Islam. There are many verses in Quran that speaks about being patinece and thus being more close to Allah.

"O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient." [2:153]

Allah tells us if we are patient and pious, the plot of the enemy cannot do any harm, even if he is powerful, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):
“But if you remain patient and become Al-Muttaqoon (the pious), not the least harm will their cunning do to you. Surely, Allaah surrounds all that they do” [3:120]

Allah tells us that He loves those who are patient, and that is the greatest encouragement. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And Allaah loves As-Saabiroon (the patient)” [3:146]

Allah states that the victory of attaining Paradise and being saved from Hell will be won only by those who are patient,
“Verily, I have rewarded them this Day for their patience; they are indeed the ones that are successful” [23:111]

As Muslims, we should not let our emotions get the better of us. It is certainly difficult for a person to look at the tragedies of the world today and not feel helpless and sad. But believers are called to put their trust in their Lord, and not to fall into despair or hopelessness. We must continue to do what Allah has called us to do: put our trust in Him, perform good deeds, and stand as witnesses for justice and truth.

"Verily man is in loss, except such as have faith, and do righteous deeds, and join together in the mutual enjoining of truth, and of patience and constancy." (103:2-3)
"Be patient, for your patience is with the help of Allah." (16:127)
"And be steadfast in patience, for verily Allah will not suffer the reward of the righteous to perish." (11:115)

Benefits of Patience
- Patience is enjoyed upon the Believers. [16:127]
- That which is opposite to patience is forbidden [68:48]
- Patience is made a condition of success and prosperity [3:200]
- The reward of those who exercise patience is doubled [28:54]
- Patience and emaan are pre-requisites for leadership in religion [32:24]
- Patience is the way to earn the Companionship of Allah [8:46]

Types of Patince
Patience is of three types:
(i) Patience upon obedience – To be patient when finding it hard obeying Allah's rules.
(ii) To be patient when a trouble befalls you
(iii) To be patient when finding it hard to abstain from sins.

It is amazing that the Prophet (PBUH) mentioned the number of the body joints so precisely, at a time when nobody had any idea about human anatomy.

Muslim Book 005, Number 2199:
'A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Every one of the children of Adam has been created with three hundred and sixty joints; so he who declares the Glory of Allah, praises Allah, declares Allah to be One, Glorifies Allah, and seeks forgiveness from Allah, and removes stone, or thorn, or bone from people's path, and enjoins what is good and forbids from evil, to the number of those three hundred and sixty-four, will walk that day haviing removed himself from Hell.

Abu Dawud Book 41, Number 5222:
Narrated Buraydah ibn al-Hasib: I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) say: A human being has three hundred and sixty joints for each of which he must give alms. The people asked him: Who is capable of doing this ? He replied: It may be mucus in the mosque which you bury, and something which you remove from the road; but if you do not find such, two rak'ahs in the forenoon will be sufficient for you.

The Prophet (PBUH) said that the number of joints in the human body is 360, although at that time it was impossible to know such information, for most of the joints are very small and hard to see with the naked eye. The exact number of joints was not discovered until development in the fields of anatomy and histology.

Prior to 1995 it was thought that there are 340 joints in the human body. In 1995 a scientific institute proved that the internal ear consists of 10 joints each (made up of cartilaginous matter). Thus 20 joints were added and the discovery was made that the human body consists of 360 joints.

Similar hadith is also a part of Riyad as-Salihin Book reference : Book 1, Hadith 122

The Joints In Human Body consists of

First: 147 joints in the vertebral column
25 joints between the vertebrae.
72 joints between the vertebrae and the ribs.

Second: 24 joints in the thorax
2 joints between the bones of the sternum and the thoracic cage.
18 joints between the sternum and the ribs.
2 joints between the clavicle and the scapulae (shoulder blade).
2 joints between the scapulae and the thorax.

Third: 86 joints in the upper extremity
2 joints between the scapular bones.
6 joints between the elbows.
8 joints between the wrists.
70 joints between the hand bones.

Fourth: 92 joints in the lower extremity
2 hip joints.
6 joints between the knee bones.
6 joints between the ankles.
74 joints between the feet bones.

Fifth: 11 joints in the Pelvis
4 joints between the coccyx vertebrae.
6 joints between the bones acetabulm.
1 joint of the pubic sumphysis.
Total number of joints: 360

Science agrees with the number of joints as mentioned in Hadiths

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk%3AJoint#Number_of_joints_in_the_body.3F
http://www.sooperarticles.com/health-fitness-articles/joint-pain-treatment-672067.html

Thus, the Prophet (PBUH) accurately pinpointed the number of joints fourteen centuries ago while modern anatomy came to assert this scientific fact only recently.

Apart from Noble Quran and splitting of the moon the Prophet performed other miracles by the will of Allah and it was wittnessed by his companions and people around him
All of the Hadiths are taken from the Book of Bukhari

Water Flowed From Prophet's Finger
Volume 4, Book 56, Number 772
Narrated Anas:
A bowl of water was brought to the Prophet while he was at Az-Zawra. He placed his hand in it and the water started flowing among his fingers. All the people performed ablution (with that water). Qatada asked Anas, "How many people were you?" Anas replied, "Three hundred or nearly three-hundred."

Volume 4, Book 56, Number 779
Narrated 'Abdullah:
We used to consider miracles as Allah's Blessings, but you people consider them to be a warning. Once we were with Allah's Apostle on a journey, and we ran short of water. He said, "Bring the water remaining with you." The people brought a utensil containing a little water. He placed his hand in it and said, "Come to the blessed water, and the Blessing is from Allah." I saw the water flowing from among the fingers of Allah's Apostle , and no doubt, we heard the meal glorifying Allah, when it was being eaten (by him).

Prediction About Death
Volume 4, Book 56, Number 824
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
The Prophet had informed us of the death of Ja'far and Zaid before the news of their death reached us, and his eyes were shedding tears.

Food Multiplication
Volume 4, Book 56, Number 780
Narrated Jabir:
My father had died in debt. So I came to the Prophet and said, "My father (died) leaving unpaid debts, and I have nothing except the yield of his date palms; and their yield for many years will not cover his debts. So please come with me, so that the creditors may not misbehave with me." The Prophet went round one of the heaps of dates and invoked (Allah), and then did the same with another heap and sat on it and said, "Measure (for them)." He paid them their rights and what remained was as much as had been paid to them.

Supplication for Rain
Volume 8, Book 73, Number 115
Narrated Anas: A man came to the Prophet on a Friday while he (the Prophet) was delivering a sermon at Medina, and said, "There is lack of rain, so please invoke your Lord to bless us with the rain." The Prophet looked at the sky when no cloud could be detected. Then he invoked Allah for rain. Clouds started gathering together and it rained till the Medina valleys started flowing with water. It continued raining till the next Friday. Then that man (or some other man) stood up while the Prophet was delivering the Friday sermon, and said, "We are drowned; Please invoke your Lord to withhold it (rain) from us" The Prophet smiled and said twice or thrice, "O Allah! Please let it rain round about us and not upon us." The clouds started dispersing over Medina to the right and to the left, and it rained round about Medina and not upon Medina. Allah showed them (the people) the miracle of His Prophet and His response to his invocation.

Lights to guide Companions

Volume 1, Book 8, Number 454
Narrated Anas bin Malik: Two of the companions of the Prophet departed from him on a dark night and were led by two lights like lamps (going in front of them from Allah as a miracle) lighting the way in front of them, and when they parted, each of them was accompanied by one of these lights till he reached their (respective) houses.

Crying of the stem of the Date-palm Tree
Volume 4, Book 56, Number 783
Narrated Ibn Umar: The Prophet used to deliver his sermons while standing beside a trunk of a date palm. When he had the pulpit made, he used it instead. The trunk started crying and the Prophet went to it, rubbing his hand over it (to stop its crying).

Why Hijab? Benefits Of Hijab

Why Hijab? Benefits Of Hijab

Like us on facebook:

"O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters and the believing women to draw their outer garments around them (when they go out or are among men). That is better in order that they may be known (to be Muslims) and not annoyed..." [Noble Quran 33:59]

1. Represents purity

The hijab is regarded like an indication of dignity and purity. It highlights Muslim women as chaste and pure women. It also sets the wearer apart from immoral behaviors linked to women who wear immodestly. Actually, the hijab acts like a screen between chaste Muslim women and the world’s evil.

2. Protects from male harassment

Most men do not make lewd gestures or whistle when a woman wearing a hijab passes by. In fact, men view the hijab like a sign that says off limits and thus do not approach such women. Muslim women by and large have a low chance of being exploited for their femininity and beauty in contrast with other women. Thus it protects from lustful eyes and harassment from strange men.

3. Places focus on intellect

The hijab also benefits Muslim women by forcing people, particularly men, to go past the outer appearances and focus on the women’s intellect. Rather than assessing woman for her mind, the society usually assesses her based on physical traits. Many people are truly surprised when they discover that a Muslim who wears a hijab is articulate, intelligent and educated.

4. Eliminates competition amongst women

People in western nations are known for sacrificing health and financial savings so as to have expensive plastic surgery with an aim of meeting unrealistic standards of beauty. However, through wearing a hijab, Muslim women can go about their normal duties without worrying about impressing other people.

5.Hygienic Purposes:

All public should wear Hijab or head-covering workers serving society to ensure cleanliness and purity. Workers in a number of professions wear "veils" - nurses, fast food workers, and deli Counter workers, restaurant workers and servers, doctors, health care providers and many more.

6.Female Psychological Balance:

Covering the hair can also have a beneficial effect on the female psyche as well. Studies of women being interviewed for jobs show that there is a high correlation between what they wear and their perceptions of how successful they will be in their interviews. There are many more examples of how what we wear can influence how we act.

7. It Is A Modest Dress
It is a modest dress that guards your chasity and feminity from being exposing to public and strangers.

Wearing a hijab does not have demerits and those who wear it have more strength and confidence as women become less mindful of their physique and appearance.

8. Protects From Sun Rays And Skin Cancer
Medical experts recommend people to cover up with loose-fitting clothing, especially those made with tightly woven fabrics as they provide a greater barrier between the skin and the sun. Bright or dark-coloured clothing tend to reflect more UV radiation than pastel coloured clothing and bleached cottons.

9- Hygiene
The head-covering ensures cleanliness and purity and prevents cross contamination and spread of infections and diseases.

10- Command From Allah
The creator has commanded you to guard your chaste and dress modestly. Allah says in Quran
"And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O yeBelievers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss." [24:31]

11- Identifies you as a Muslim: “Wearing Hijab identifies you as a Muslim, so anywhere you go, anyone who sees you immediately knows what I believe and what I stand for.”

12- The hijab cuts down on competition among women. How many people in the West sacrifice financial savings and health in order to have plastic surgery - in a desperate attempt to meet up to an unrealistic standard of beauty. In Islam women are appreciated for their knowledge, peity and contribution to society

Health Benefits of the Hijab | Stunning Hijab

Non- muslims will know our religion and faith, even without being introduced and thus it spreads message of Islam.
The Islamic dress maintains a state of balance within the human body that helps keep it healthy through out its lifetime. This proves that there are always valid reasons behind any divine rulings and regulations given to mankind and it is clear that the wisdom of Allah in prescribing such rulings related to hijab and the Islamic dress code provides protection not only from sociological and psychological issues but from a health perspective too.

What Does Son Of God Mean?

What Is Meant By Son Of God In Bible?

Bismillah Hir Rehman Ir Raheem
Start In the Name Of Allah The Most Beneficent The Most Merciful

Like us on facebook:

“…How can He have a son when He has no consort?...” (Quran 6:101)

As per genealogy of Jesus stated in Matthew and Luke Jesus was a son of David metaphorically.
Although many times in Bible Jesus is refer to as the Son of God, but what this actually mean.

Bible in many verses states different creations as sons of God. For example according to Luke 3:38 Adam was the son of God, similarly in Exodus 4:22 Israel is refer to as one of the son of God. Any pious person, angels and David were also son of God.
Sons of God In Bible
What does “Son of God” mean in the first place?  No legitimate Christian sect suggests that God took a wife and had a child, and most certainly none conceive that God fathered a child through a human mother outside of marriage. Furthermore, to suggest that God physically mated with an element of His creation is so far beyond the limits of religious tolerance as to plummet down the sheer cliff of blasphemy, chasing the mythology of the Greeks.
Actually the son of God is the same as servant of God in Hebrew
Investigating the manuscripts that make up the New Testament, one finds that the alleged “sonship” of Jesus is based upon the mistranslation of two Greek words—pais and huios, both of which are translated as “son.”  However, this translation appears disingenuous.  The Greek word pais derives from the Hebrew ebed, which bears the primary meaning of servant, or slave.  Hence, the primary translation of pais theou is “servant of God,” with “child” or “son of God” being an extravagant embellishment.  According to the Theological Dictionary of the New Testament, “The Hebrew original of pais in the phrase pais theou, i.e.,ebed, carries a stress on personal relationship and has first the sense of ‘slave. This is all the more interesting because it dovetails perfectly with the prophecy of Isaiah 42:1, upheld in Matthew 12:18: “Behold, My servant [i.e., from the Greek pais] whom I have chosen, My beloved in whom my soul is well pleased …” Whether a person reads the King James Version, New King James Version, New Revised Standard Version, or New International Version, the word is “servant” in all cases.  Considering that the purpose of revelation is to make the truth of God clear, one might think this passage an unsightly mole on the face of the doctrine of divine sonship.  After all, what better place for God to have declared Jesus His son?  What better place to have said, “Behold, My son whom I have begotten …”?  But He didn’t say that.  For that matter, the doctrine lacks biblical support in the recorded words of both Jesus and God, and there is good reason to wonder why.  Unless, that is, Jesus was nothing more than the servant of God this passage describes.
For more proof visit "Son of God" means "Servant of God" in Hebrew. Bible agrees with Islam, not with pagan trinity

"And they say: "(God) Most Gracious has begotten offspring." Glory to Him! they are (but) servants raised to honour. [Quran, 21:26]

You can see the difference in the below pictures that the most accurate translation is Jesus being a servant of God

"I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will." [John 5:30]

The Prophets in Old Testament never preached Trinity nor it was ever heard by Jews during there time. They use to worship one God and never prayed Trinity or prayed for it
"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one." [Deut 6:4]

The message of Jesus was perhaps the same that is God is one as he expressed that in Mark 12:29. Jesus also tells that salvation is from the Jews
"..for salvation is from the Jews." [John 4:22] and by obeying the commandments [Matthew 19:17]

Several times Jesus acknowledge that he was send by God
"Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" [John 20:17]
"Jesus replied, "If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me."  [John 8:54]

During his lifetime Jesus never calls himself God. Nor did he ever claimed to be part of Trnity or preached it.
In this verse he affirms that he was sent by God: "This is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent."  [John 17:3]

If Jesus was God then he would have told his people to worship him and bow to him but he forbid it saying
"They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules." [Matthew 15:9]

Was Jesus God or send by God according to himself?

“But I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent me.” (John 7:29)
“He who rejects me rejects Him who sent me” (Luke 10:16)
“But now I go away to Him who sent me” (John 16:5)
“Jesus answered them and said, ‘My doctrine is not mine, but His who sent me.’” (John 7:16)
“For I have not spoken on my own authority; but the Father who sent me gave me a command, what I should say and what I should s peak.” (John 12:49)
“But of that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Mark 13:32)
“‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ (Luke 4:8)
“My food is to do the will of Him who sent me” (John 4:34)
“I can of myself do nothing … I do not seek my own will but the will of the Father who sent me.” (John 5:30)

Moreover Jesus refer himself as
Servant::
Matthew 10:24, 24:45, 12:18 John 13:16.
Prophet:
Matthew 8:20 13:16,21:11, Mark 6:15, 6;4, 9;37, Luke 7:16, 24:19, 13:33, 9:8, 9:19, 22:48,22:69 , John 13:17, 7:16, 12:49, 6:14, 7:40.

When Is A Divorce Not A Divorce In Islam?

1- When Woman Is Mensurating
Allah says in Quran
O Prophet, when you [Muslims] divorce women, divorce them for [the commencement of] their waiting period and keep count of the waiting period, and fear Allah , your Lord. Do not turn them out of their [husbands'] houses, nor should they [themselves] leave [during that period] unless they are committing a clear immorality. And those are the limits [set by] Allah . And whoever transgresses the limits of Allah has certainly wronged himself. You know not; perhaps Allah will bring about after that a [different] matter. [Quran 65:1]

This can also be found in one of the authentic hadith
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:
"AbdurRahman ibn Ayman, the client of Urwah, asked Ibn Umar and AbuzZubayr was was listening: What do you think if a man divorces his wife while she is menstruating? He said: Abdullah ibn Umar divorced his wife while she was menstruating during the time of the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him).So Umar asked the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) saying: Abdullah ibn Umar divorced his wife while she was menstruating. Abdullah said: He returned her to me and did not count it (the pronouncement) anything. He said: When she is purified, he may divorce her or keep her with him. Ibn Umar said: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) recited the Qur'anic verse: O Prophet, when you divorce women, divorce them in the beginning of their waiting period."
(Translation of Sunan Abu-Dawud, Divorce (Kitab Al-Talaq), Book 12, Number 2180)

2- In Anger
"Allah does not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He imposes blame upon you for what your hearts have earned. And Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing." [Quran 2:225]
If a man says that he divorces his wife in anger then it will not be count as divorce. However, anger should be so intense that the person is no longer aware of what he is doing or saying, and becomes like one who is insane or mad. In this case the divorce does not count, according to all the scholars, because he is like one who is insane and mad, who has lost all power of reason.
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “There is no divorce and no freeing of slaves when it is done by force or in a state of intense anger.”
(Narrated by Ibn Maajah, 2046; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Irwa’, 2047)

3- Threefold divorce will only be count as one
Divorce in thrice, or divorce by three all at once is considered only one divorce in Islam according to the verdict of the Al-Azhar Islamic Scholarship Organization; one of the largest Islamic Scholarship Organizations in the Islamic world.  It is also considered as one divorce according to the Sayings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and the man can take her wife back

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
"Tawus said: AbusSahba' said to Ibn Abbas: Do you know that a divorce by three pronouncements was made a single one during the time of the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him), and of AbuBakr and in the early days of the caliphate of Umar? He replied: Yes."
(Translation of Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 12, Divorce (Kitab Al-Talaq), Number 2194)

What Qualities Does Allah Loves?
-------------------------------------------------------

"Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful." [3:31]

"But yes, whoever fulfills his commitment and fears Allah - then indeed, Allah loves those who fear Him." [3:76]

"Who spend [in the cause of Allah ] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good;" [3:134]

"..Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves." [2:222]

"And how many a prophet has fought with whom were many worshippers of the Lord; so they did not become weak-hearted on account of what befell them in Allah's way, nor did they weaken, nor did they abase themselves; and Allah loves the patient." [3:146]

"...For Allah doth love the righteous" [9:7]

"Do not stand [for prayer] within it - ever. A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves." [9:108]

"And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah . And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly." [49:9]

"Thus it is due to mercy from Allah that you deal with them gently, and had you been rough, hard hearted, they would certainly have dispersed from around you; pardon them therefore and ask pardon for them, and take counsel with them in the affair; so when you have decided, then place your trust in Allah; surely Allah loves those who trust." [3:159]

"(They like to) listen to falsehood, to devour anything forbidden. So if they come to you (O Muhammad SAW), either judge between them, or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they cannot hurt you in the least. And if you judge, judge with justice between them. Verily, Allah loves those who act justly." [5:42]

"And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided" [2:186]

Doubting The Gospel Of John

Doubting The Gospel Of John

Bismillah Hir Rehman Ir Raheem
Start In the Name Of Allah The Most Beneficent The Most Merciful

Like us on facebook:

"This was John's testimony when the Jewish leaders sent priests and Temple assistants from Jerusalem to ask John, "Who are you?" [John 1:19]

The internal evidence against the authenticity of the Fourth Gospel is conclusive. The Apostle John did not write it. John, the apostle, was a Jew; the author of the Fourth Gospel was not a Jew. John was born at Bethsaida; the author of the Fourth Gospel did not know where Bethsaida was located. John was an uneducated fisherman; the author of this Gospel was an accomplished scholar. Some of the most important events in the life of Jesus, the Synoptics declare, were witnessed by John; the author of this knows nothing of these events. The Apostle John witnessed the crucifixion; the author of this Gospel did not. The Apostles, including John, believed Jesus to be a man; the author of the Fourth Gospel believed him to be a god.

Regarding the authorship of the Fourth Gospel, Dr. Davidson says: "The Johannine authorship has receded before the tide of modern criticism, and though this tide is arbitrary at times, it is here irresistible" (Canon of the Bible, p. 127).

The fourth gospel was attributed to the disciple John, late in the second century CE, and has since been known as the Gospel According to Saint John, or more commonly as John's Gospel. It appears to have been written quite a few decades after the crucifixion of Jesus, thus suiting the notion of being written by a disciple who would not die.

However, the gospel is clearly derivative and therefore is now considered not to have been written by an eyewitness to the events described. The second century Roman teacher, Gaius, called the Gospel of John "heretical" and claimed that it was written by John's worst enemy, Cerinthus.

The gospel identifies its author as “the disciple whom Jesus loved.” The text does not actually name this disciple, but by the beginning of the 2nd century a tradition began to form which identified him with John the Apostle, one of the Twelve (Jesus’s innermost circle). Today the majority of scholars do not believe that John or any other eyewitness wrote it

John as third person can be found in Gospel of John
"for John had not yet been thrown into prison." [John 3:24]
"John answered them, “I baptize with water, but among you stands one you do not know," [John 1:26]
"This was John's testimony when the Jewish leaders sent priests and Temple assistants from Jerusalem to ask John, "Who are you?" [John 1:19]

Now if someone was writing about himself he should have wrtie
"This is my testimony" or "I answered them" but we can't find such things here.

In the synoptics' account Jesus is still a recognizably Jewish figure, sparing in words and human and concrete in approach; in John, Jesus has become a Greek: voluble, full of abstractions, mystical. [Maccoby, Revolution in Judea: p245-246]

How To Become A Better Or Practicing Muslim?

How To Become A Better Or Practicing Muslim?

Start In the Name Of Allah The Most Beneficent The Most Merciful

"If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous." [39:57]
"Whose hearts are filled with fear when Allah is mentioned; who patiently bear whatever may befall them (of calamities); and who perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and who spend (in Allah's Cause) out of what We have provided them." [22:35]

Many Muslims come across with such questions. This article just gives the advice for the question as the true guidance comes from Allah Alone!

1 - Fear Allah - Yes to become a better Muslims the first thing you need to do is fear Allah. This doesn't mean fearing Him just by words but by your actions too. When you fear Allah and think that He is watching you all the time this might make you think many times before indulging in sinful and Haram activities. Many times in Quran it states of Fearing Allah.!"Indeed, Allah is with those who fear Him and those who are doers of good." [16:128]
"But yes, whoever fulfills his commitment and fears Allah - then indeed, Allah loves those who fear Him." [3:76]
"This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah" [2:2]
One of the verse which states that those people who fear Allah will also fear to follow the footsteps of Satan and seek refugee
"Indeed, those who fear Allah - when an impulse touches them from Satan, they remember [Him] and at once they have insight." [7:201]

2 - Don't Miss Salah [Prayer]
Salah helps and stops you from sins and is a sign of those who are righteous. Quran in many palces stress us to establish prayers
"Who establish prayer and give zakah, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith]" [27:3]
"And those who are patient, seeking the countenance of their Lord, and establish prayer and spend from what We have provided for them secretly and publicly and prevent evil with good - those will have the good consequence of [this] home" [13:22]
The Prophet PBUH said,
“The five daily prayers and Jumu'ah to Jumu'ah is an expiation of the sins committed between those times so long as one is not guilty of major sins.” [Bukhari]

3 - Reading Quran
The second most important thing is reciting Quran even if it is a single page or a verse per day. The Quran states
"By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom" [36:2]
"So when you want to recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from Shaitan (Satan), the outcast (the cursed one)." [16:98]
Reading Quran doesn't mean just reading but also acting upon it and preaching others. The Quran says
"And certainly We have explained in this Quran every kind of example, and man is most of all given to contention." [18:54]
"Indeed, this Qur'an guides to that which is most suitable and gives good tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward." [17:9]

4 - Follow the Sunnah and Authentic Hadith
Yes it would be very beneficial to us. The sunnah and hadith of Prophet PBUH gives and guides us to the best way of lifestyle. This can be concluded from the below verses of Noble Quran
"And what Allah restored to His Messenger from the people of the towns - it is for Allah and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and orphans and the [stranded] traveler - so that it will not be a perpetual distribution among the rich from among you. And whatever the Messenger has given you - take; and what he has forbidden you - refrain from. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty." [59:7]

5 - Be Pateint
This can help one a lot of time. Allah loves those who is patient. The Quran says
"O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient." [2:153]
"And will reward them for what they patiently endured [with] a garden [in Paradise] and silk [garments]." [76:12]
In another verse the Quran says that best outcome is for those who are patient.
"That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. You knew it not, neither you nor your people, before this. So be patient; indeed, the [best] outcome is for the righteous " [11:49]

6 - Do not lie
Yes lying can cause many troubles not for yourself but to other peoples too. Allah says in Quran
"Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever" [39:3]
So how can one lie harming and spreading fitna and seek for guidance?

Other good points are:
7- Be good to your parents
8- Never Miss Jummah prayer [For males]
9- Be clean as purity is half of deen
10- Dress modestly
11 - Remember the following hadith, narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), where the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"Allah the Almighty says: 'I am as My servant thinks I am . I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assembly better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed."
(Hadith Qudsi; Narrated by Bukhari, Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)
12- Try not to be alone as Satan mostly whispers when a person is alone
13- Be modest and dress modestly
14- Preach the faith and spread the knowledge to others

The Book Of Acts Denies Jesus Divinity

The Book Of Acts Denies Jesus Divinity

Like us on facebook:

The Acts of the Apostles in the Bible details the activity of the disciples over a period of thirty years after Jesus was lifted up to heaven.  Throughout this period they never refer to Jesus as God.  They continually and consistently use the title God to refer to someone else other than Jesus.

Peter stood up with the eleven disciples and addressed the crowd saying:
"Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know." [Acts 2:22]

In fact, the way Peter refers to God and to Jesus makes it clear that Jesus is not God.  For he always turns the title God away from Jesus. For Example

"God has raised this Jesus...." [Acts 2:32]
"So let everyone in Israel know for certain that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, to be both Lord and Messiah!" [Acts 2:36]

In both passages, the title God is turned away from Jesus.  So why he did this, if Jesus was God? Did Peter did blasphemy?
For Peter Jesus was nothing more then a servant of God
"When God raised up his servant, Jesus,...." [Acts 3:26]
This can be supported by a previous verse
"The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus." [Acts 3:13]
Note here the verse doesn't states Jesus being God but seperates them.

Peter must have known that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob never spoke of a Triune God.  They always spoke of God as the only God.  Here, as in Matthew 12:18, Jesus is the servant of God.  Matthew tells us that Jesus was the same servant of God spoken of in Isaiah 42:1.  So, according to Matthew and Peter, Jesus is not God, but God’s servant.  The Old Testament repeatedly says that God is alone (e.g. Isaiah 45:5)

All of the disciples of Jesus held this view. In Acts 4:24 we are told that the believers prayed to God saying
“...they raised their voices together in prayer to God. ‘Sovereign Lord,’ they said, ‘you made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything in them."
It is clear that the one they were praying to was not Jesus, because, two verses later, they referred to Jesus as
“...your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed.” (Acts 4:27)

If Jesus was God, his disciples should have said this clearly.  Instead, they kept preaching that Jesus was God’s Christ.  We are told in Acts: “Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.” [Acts 5:42]

The Greek word “Christ” is a human title.  It means “Anointed.”  If Jesus was God, why would the disciples continually refer to him with human titles like servant and Christ of God, and consistently use the title God for the one who raised Jesus?  Did they fear men?  No! They boldly preached the truth fearing neither imprisonment nor death.  When they faced opposition from the authorities, Peter declared: “We must obey God rather than men!  The God of our fathers raised Jesus...” [Acts 5:29-30]

Were they lacking the Holy Spirit?  No! They were supported by the Holy Spirit (see Acts 2:3, 4:8, and 5:32). They were simply teaching what they had learnt from Jesus — that Jesus was not God but, rather, God’s servant and Christ.

Misquoted Verse Of Quran 33:23

Among the Believers are men who have been true to their covenant with God and have gone out for Jihad (holy fighting ). Some have completed their vow to extreme and have been martyred fighting and dying in His Cause, and some are waiting, prepared for death in battle. [Quran 33:23]

This is actually a mistranstlated verse of Quran and Non-Muslims remove the brackets to make their argyment strong but it is not. Let us help out by providing a translation without any additional ideas
"Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah, of them some have fulfilled their obligations, and some of them are still waiting, but they have never changed in the least." [Quran 33:23]

It is also clear that the Islam-hater has placed additional ideas into the translation, not supported by any translator. "fighting and dying", "prepared for death in battle", these are not the words of the Qur'an. The Qur'an is praising those early companions who remained steadfast in their faith and true to the covenant. This verse does not mention fighting or Jihad at all. Ibn Khatir writes about this verse
When Allah mentions how the hypocrites broke their promise to Him that they would not turn their backs, He describes the believers as firmly adhering to their covenant and their promise: ([they] have been true to their covenant with Allah; of them some have fulfilled their Nahbah;) Some of [the Qur’anic commentators] said: "Met their appointed time (i.e., death).'' Al-Bukhari said, "Their covenant, and refers back to the beginning of the Ayah. (and some of them are still waiting, but they have never changed in the least.) means, they have never changed or broken their covenant with Allah. (Tafsir Ibn Kathir)
Their covenant was their promise to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to protect him and support Islam. Some of the Muslims had already fulfilled it by dying to protect their faith, while others were still fully prepared to do the same.

Abdullah Yusuf Ali writes on verse 33:23
In the fight for Truth were (and are) many who sacrificed their all – resources, knowledge, influence, life itself – in the Cause, and never wavered. If they won the crown of martyrdom, they were blessed… Other heroes fought valiantly and lived, always ready to lay down their lives. Both classes were staunch: they never changed or wavered. One of the many question asked my Non-Muslims and even some Muslims is that where is Kalma written in the Quran.

Actually the Kalma that is "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger" is not separately mentioned in Quran in any ayat but is carved out from Quran in two parts

The first part of it is written in 3:2 which is "There is no God but Allah"
The second part is found in 48:29 which read "Muhammad is Messenger of Allah"
Allah knows the best!

My name is Jane and my adopted name is Imaan I took shahada alone when I was 19 years old

Before Islam-

I grew up in a Christian home together with my parents and my siblings. We always attend masses at Church every Sunday and my parents let me study in Catholic schools and universities. I learned a lot during that time about Christianity but most of them are questions in my mind which my parents and some professors never answer me back with a reliable answer. I used to ask myself before, especially when we are in the Church and praying, I am so confused. I felt like there’s something not true and I need to find it.

One day I saw a Muslima wearing Niqab in a store while buying some books I suddenly look in her eyes and we had an eye to eye contact at that very moment I felt like she’s the most beautiful woman I ever seen in my whole life. At that time I didn’t really know they are called Muslims but I called them before as Ninjas. When I went back home I asked all my aunties, cousins and some of my friends who are they, why they are wearing that, why they are hiding their faces, why and why and why but no one give an answer they just say “they are terrorist” “they kill innocent people” and so on..

During those days, we went to an Islamic place. I didn’t knew about Muslims and Islam at all that time. I heard from media that most of them are terrorist and my family believes on what they heard on media but I ignored it because I really don’t judge a person by their religion. When I was 18 years old. I started studying other religions. I never give up searching for an answer. People around me especially my parents seems annoyed by my questions I felt like no one understands me.

Finding Islam-

After a year, we went to an Islamic place which 60% of the people there are Muslims but I never had a chance to make Muslims friends at that time because I am not really friendly and I feel so shy. Around six in the afternoon we went to a Church to attend a Mass with our whole family. It was 2nd day of November, I was standing in one corner then suddenly I heard the Azan for the very first time in my life I was so amazed and I felt like it’s calling me and my body wants to walk towards the sound. I didn’t notice the mass was ended then I was just staring in the sky and in that moment it was the best feeling I ever felt in my life.

Being a Muslim-

When we got back in our city I started to study Islam and from there I decided to take my Shahada alone in my room. Alhamdulillah for the internet I met many muslim sisters and brothers and also Islamic internet sites who helped me out on how to perform Salah. Actually I kept on watching and watching all over again after that I did give a try to perform Salah for the first time and I was so shocked that I did cry a lot the whole time knowing my lips can speak Arabic words without doing an effort. It was a sudden change in my life. I quit all the bad habits I am doing, hanging out late at night with friends, Drinking alcohol and Smoking. People around me think I am crazy like a female psychopath. Every time I prayed Salah in front of them they keep on laughing at me, Friends called me uncool because I am not into their trips now. Fasting alone in our house during Ramadan and.. Being alone every Eid but still Alhamdulillah. Praying Salah and reading Quran makes me feel I am not alone at all. I admit, I always asked question to my brother and sister in Islam maybe they got a bit annoyed. I asked Allah to help me, to answer my questions. SUBHAN ALLAH! Every time I asked question, He answered it every time I open and read the Holy Qur’an.

Most of the people in my life kept saying to me “You're crazy, You don't think, etc” and so I just smiled and think of the words I’ve read from the Holy Qur’an “
Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path” I didn’t choose Islam, Allah choose me.

Doubting The Gospel Of Mark
Just who was the real author of the Gospel of Mark?
Doubting the Gospel

He sat down and called the TWELVE apostles. He told them, "Whoever wants to be the most important person must take the last place and be a servant to everyone else." [Mark 9:35]

This anonymous gospel was the first to be written, between 60 and 80CE, by a Roman convert to Christianity. It was copied word-for-word and used extensively by Matthew and Luke, as their primary source although they edited some details. Nevertheless, the gospel author didn't meet Jesus, wrote in Greek, not Hebrew, and was not a Jew. It is unlikely that Mark knew any Jews. There was no-one to correct his blunders about Jewish life, such as misquoting the 10 commandments, attributing God's words to Moses, and having Jews buy things on the Sabbath. The Gospel of Mark has undergone many changes and there are several ancient versions. The oldest versions of Mark all end at Mark 16:8 many with the words "according to Mark". 9-20 was a later edition by a different unknown author. The Gospel of Mark contradicts the other gospels on many points and contains internal inconsistencies, some of these were later fixed by Matthew and Luke when they made their own copies of Mark. Half way through the second century the Christian proto-orthodox had come to call it 'Mark', although the author is unknown. [Source]

The Gospel known to us as the Gospel According to St Mark or St Mark's Gospel does not identify its author. It was not until the second century that an attempt was made to assign an author to the Gospel, when it was attributed by the Church Fathers to the Apostle Mark, thus giving this previously anonymous Gospel the name "Gospel According to St Mark". Eusebius (Ecclesiastical History, 3.39) says that it was Papias, bishop of Hieropolis in Asia Minor (ca.130), who named Mark as the author of the gospel and the 'interpreter' of Peter. It seems likely that he was influenced by the first epistle of Peter, a pseudonymous document from the second century, where a Mark is mentioned as Peter's son (l Peter 5:13). Since 1 Peter is now known not to have really been written by the apostle Peter, this just adds another level of unsupported conjecture to the quest for the author of Mark's Gospel.

Strictly speaking, the work is anonymous, in that no claim of authorship is inherently made within the letter itself. However, there is evidence both in Scripture and in history to support John Mark, cousin of Barnabas (Colossians 4:10), early traveling companion of Paul (Acts 12:25), and spiritual son of Peter (I Peter 5:13) as the author of the gospel. [Source]

Not even the Bible claims that Mark was an eye witness to Jesus’ ministry. Modern, non Christian biblical  scholars believe that the gospel of Mark was written in Syria by an unknown Christian no earlier than AD 70, using various sources including a passion narrative (probably written), collections of miracles stories (oral or written), apocalyptic traditions (probably written), and disputations and didactic sayings (some possibly written). These stories were in circulation year after year, told in different languages and in different countries from that of Jesus.

The Gospel Of Matthew
Just who was the real author of the Gospel of Matthew?
Doubting the Gospel

"As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector's booth. "Follow me," he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him." [Matthew 9:9]

The Gospel of Matthew was composed between 70 and 110, with most scholars preferring the period 80-90. The anonymous author was probably a highly educated Jew, intimately familiar with the technical aspects of Jewish law, and the disciple Matthew was probably honored within his circle as the source of much of the tradition.

Matthew may have been influenced by Jewish Christianity, a movement in the first few centuries CE which saw Jesus as the Messiah+, but continued to practice Jewish customs and traditions. The Gospel of the Nazarenes, a Jewish Christian text, possesses similar themes to the Gospel of Matthew. These themes include many Jewish related elements.

In the above verses Matthew 9:9 we see that Matthew wrote about himself? Was the author really Matthew? If so, why did not he wrote
"Jesus saw me sitting at the tex collector's booth and told me to follow him so I stand up and followed"

In the next verses i.e. Matthew 9:10 we read a similar statement
"While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples"
Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house if Matthew wrote about himself here it is more likely to be having dinner at my house.

Thus, such evidence can be found in many places throughout the New Testament. Granted, it may be possible that an author sometimes may write in the third person.

The 10 Commandments In Quran

The 10 Commandments In Quran

The 10 Commandments in Bible are found in Exodus 20:3-17 which are

1- “You shall have no other gods before me.”
2-“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.”
3- “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.”
4- “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.”
5- “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you”.
6- “You shall not murder.”
7- “You shall not commit adultery.”
8- “You shall not steal.”
9- “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.”
10- “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”

The following 10 Commandments are also mentioned in Quran and are part of Islam

1- Say, "He is Allah , [who is] One, [112:1]

  • And serve Allah. Ascribe no thing as partner unto Him. [4:36]
  • Say (O Muhammad SAW to these polytheists and pagans): "Show me those whom you have joined to Him as partners. Nay (there are not at all any partners with Him)! But He is Allah (Alone), the AllMighty, the AllWise." [34:27]
2- No vision can grasp Him, but His Grasp is over all vision. He is the Most Subtle and Courteous, Well-Acquainted with all things. [6:103]
3- Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. [20:8]
  • And do not insult those they invoke other than Allah , lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do. [6:108]
4- And We raised over them the mount for [refusal of] their covenant; and We said to them, "Enter the gate bowing humbly", and We said to them, "Do not transgress on the sabbath", and We took from them a solemn covenant. [4:154]
  • O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. [62:9]
