Well if someone read the Bible and wanted to seek salvation in it then it might happen that whom should he follow to achieve salvation.
Should He Follow
To achieve Salvation In Bible there are three types of salvation defined. You can seek salvation in Christianity by following any of the above I think. As context of the Bible tell us. Let us have a look on it.
Salvation According to Paul:
A) If you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, then you would be saved."
B) This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe"
C) "Those who depend on obeying the Law live under a curse."
D) 'The Law was in charge of us until Jesus came. Now Law is no more."
So according to Paul salavation is from Jesus as Romans states that who ever believe in Jesus will be saved.
Moreover, Paul also cancelled the Law that was instructed by Jesus to follow. As he said
"Dont think I have come to Abolish the Law but to fulfill it"
But Paul cancelled it saying
Paul said, “When God speaks of a "new" covenant, it means he has made the first one obsolete. It is now out of date and will soon disappear.
Hence, according to Paul salvation is from Jesus only and you don't have to follow the Law
Salavtion according to Jesus:
A) "For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven."
B) Jesus said—'There is only One who is good. If you want to enter eternal life, obey the commandments.
Now here Bible is telling us that one can achieve salvation by following the Commandments or the Law.
Jesus here himself stated that if you need a eternal life then you must Obey the Commandments, where as according to Paul salvation is from Jesus and he cancelled the Law.
Salvation From Jews:
Bible also tells us that salvation is from Jews:
"You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews."
Here Jesus is telling us that salvation is from Jews.
Bible itself states three ideas of salavation so which is the correct the one. The one with Jesus, Paul or Jews.?
Now can anyone tell us where does salvation comes from in Christianity from Paul, Jesus or from Jews. Some Christian missionaries even argue on salvation that where does it comes from.
