"I the LORD do not change....." Malachi 3:6

Can God change in His nature and give up his Divine authority and become man for a period of time? In the above verse the Lord declares that he does not change. But does not change in what? Character? Habit? No, he does not change in nature i.e. He stays Divine and doesn't take a human form as He is able to do all things in His Divine Nature. It is confirmed by the  Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible which states following about the verse Malachi 3:6
"....I change not; being the same today, yesterday, and forever; he changed not in his divine nature and personality by becoming man;..."

Several other verses can be found regarding this
"But you remain the same, and your years will never end." [Psalm 102:27]
Even the NT declares
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning [James 1:17]

Further we read in Hebrew 1:12
"You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end"

In one of Christian Apologetics site i.e Carm.org we read that God nature does not change

So if God does not change in nature, How come he took human form and give up His divine nature?

Sister Hajar adds
God does not change. Change is a sign of need and need is not befitting to attribute to God. because of a thing changes for the better then it was not perfect to begin with, if it change for worse, then it is no longer perfect. It is a fact that God is perfect. Therefore, God does not change.
