Jesus | Paul |
On Praying and God | |
Jesus Christ came to preach 'The Law." He preached pure Monotheism. All his preaching’s were in line with the preaching of all other prophets. He used to pray to ONE TRUE GOD and he used to fast as well. That is why early scriptures records God as Only one and Absolute. It is also a fact that verses examining Jesus as god or son is not recorded in previous chapters and are mostly found in Pauline doctrine or Gospel of John, etc. "And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is ONE Lord:" [Mark 12:29] |
Paul propagated many things against the teaching of Jesus. Paul said that Jesus is Alpha and Omega. He sent his one and the only son into the world. Jesus who has destroyed death. For there is one GOD and one mediator between GOD and man, the man Christ Jesus. You died with Christ, you have been raised with Christ and GOD made you alive with Christ. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of Law. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus (which never took place). In Jesus we have redemption through his blood. In Adam all dies, in Christ all will be made alive. Jesus is our savior etc. He preached Trinitarian. Jesus was Monotheist |
On the God of the dead | |
"Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living;" [Luke.20:38] | "For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living." [Romans 14:9 ] |
On Praying | |
"And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Father, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom comes" [Luke 11:2] "Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed" [Matt 26:39] |
Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. |
On The Law | |
"For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven." [Matthew 5:20] "For anyone who refused to obey the law of Moses was put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses." [Hebrews 10:28] "Do not think that I [Jesus] have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke or a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished." [Matthew 5:17-18] |
"Those who depend on obeying the Law live under a curse." [Galatians3:10] 'The Law was in charge of us until Jesus came. Now Law is no more." [Galatians 3:24] "Because law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression." [Romans 4:15] "For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the Law." [Romans 3:28] |
On the sum of the commandments
"And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets." [Matthew 22:37-40] | "The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not kill, You shall not steal, You shall not covet," and any other commandment, are summed up in this sentence, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." [Romans 13:9] |
On the Gospel and teachings
"Jesus answered them and said, ‘My doctrine is not mine, but His who sent me." [John 7:16] "He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." [Mark 16:15] "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised" [Luke 4:18] |
"In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to MY gospel." [Romans 2:16] "Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to MY gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began," [Romans 16:25 ] "Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to MY gospel" [2 Timothy. 2:8] |
On subject of worshipping and Lord
“You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ [Luke 4:8] "Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers." [John 4:21-23] |
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." [Romans 6:23] |
On attaining eternal life
Jesus said "For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven." [Matthew 5:20] 'There is only One who is good. If you want to enter eternal life, obey the commandments." [Matthew 19:17] |
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." [Romans 6:23] "So that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." [Romans 5:21] |
On honoring Jesus and eternal life
Jesus said "For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven." [Matthew 5:20] 'There is only One who is good.
On forbidden food | |
Jesus always kept his distance from the pigs. Matthew 8:28-34, Mark 5:11-17, Luke 8:32-37 Swine forbidden in OT 'The pig is also unclean; although it has a split hoof, it does not chew and cud. You are not to eat then or touch their carcasses" [Deuteronomy 14:8] |
"I am fully convinced that no food is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for him it is unclean" [Romans 14:14] "All food is clean, but it is wrong for a man to eat anything that causes someone else to fall.” [Romans 14:20] |
Repent or not to | |
"From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near."." [Matthew 4:17] "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near." [Matthew 3:2] |
"Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go a maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death." [Hebrews 4:13] |
Who is the Father | |
“I am ascending to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God.” [John 20:17] Jesus: "And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven." [Matthew 23:9] |
The devil 'PAUL' blaspemosuly boasted" For I became your Father" [1 Corinthians 4:15] |
On account of sins | |
"But I tell you that men will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every careless word they have spoken." [Matthew 12:36] | "Christ died for us" [Romans 5:8] |
About Judging | |
"Judge not, that ye be not judge." [Matthew 7:1] | "Is it not certain that the saints will be the judges of the world? If then the world will be judged by you, are you unable to give a decision about the smallest things? Is it not certain that we are to be the judges of angels? How much more then of the things of this life?" [1 Corinthians 6:2] |
