Narrated Abu Hurayrah: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: The Last Hour will not come before there come forth thirty Dajjals (fraudulents, i.e. dishonest), everyone presuming himself that he is an apostle of Allah. [Abu Dawud Book 37, Number 4319 and 4320]
This Hadith suggests one of the Sign of last Hour will be marked by different people claiming to be Prophet of Allah. There have been many examples and such events have occurred throughout the history. Examples can include the founder of Baha’i faith who was named Bahaullah, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad from Qadiani, Punjab, Aswad Ansi of Yemen, Musaylimah who falsely confessed about his prophet hood shortly after the demise of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, etc.
