Allah says in Quran in Chapter 95 verse 4-6
"We have certainly created man in the best of stature, Then We return him to the lowest of the low, Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted."

Allah tells us that he have created men in perfected order and in the best of module. Thus, He had perfected everything in man.
"...You can see no fault in the creations of the Most Beneficent. Then look again: "Can you see any rifts?" [67:3]

Nevertheless, Allah, All-Mighty, has singled man out for the above-mentioned Verse as well as some other Verses denoting his being created in the best stature
Allah assembled us from the view-point of composition
"In whatever form He willed has He assembled you." [82:8]
Allah made man perfectly
"Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion" [82:7]
And created us in best stature
"We have certainly created man in the best of stature" [95:4]

Man is the most complicated creature in the universe. His marvelous cells, tissues, organs and parts of body, are far more sophisticated, accurate, and perfectly constructed than can be conceived properly by the most learned scientists. In man there is a soul in which do clash countless diverse emotions and feelings, contradictory desires and values, conflicting needs and principles, the qualities of which are  unperceivable even  by the most knowledgeable psychologists. In man there is an intelligent mind in which do dwell principles, beliefs, conceptions, innovations, analytical abilities, and creativities that enable him to be the best and most honored of all creatures. Allah says in Quran
"And indeed We have honoured the Children of Adam, and We have carried them on land and sea, and have provided them with At-Taiyibat (lawful good things), and have preferred them above many of those whom We have created with a marked preference." [Quran 17:70]

Among the things that provide evidence of man’s being created in the best stature is “Acquired Immunity System”, the third defense-line in the human body. Allah, Most Gracious, endued man with most accurate and effective defense systems and mechanisms, first of which is the skin, the first perfect and most fitting armor of the body, repelling germs and epidemics; and it is the first defense-line of the human body. Allah, Most Merciful, also granted each and every organ, sense or part of the human body a special defense mechanism of its own. The eye, for instance, is supported with lashes, lids, and tears. These are the second defense-line of the human body.

"Then We return him to the lowest of the low" [95:5]
The context of this Surah is the Ethical and Moral concept of the Soul
Man deviates from his Lord’s Religion and follows his own lusty desires and caprices, without any religious control, deterrence by man’s pure human original disposition, or reproach by his mind.
Human being was created in the quality of a diamond which is expressed as ahsen-u taqweem in Arabic. If she/he steps out of the divine pleasure and right path, this causes him/her to fall to the lowest of the low as a punishment. This falling is symbolized as coal. According to what men of science say, diamond and coal have same components. Now, from this difference is borne two opposite qualities. As is possible to write different words with the same letters, so too there may emerge two opposite qualities from the same human qualities.

Ethically the animals don't do crimes such as genocide, mass rape, etc. Doing these evil things lead man to become one of the lowest among mankind. Allah creates the human in a balance of body and spirit. When there is an imbalance i.e. Too much worldly affairs and too less spiritual connection with Allah - human gets weak/hasty/ungrateful etc. But when there is a balance of spiritual worship to Allah and permissible worldly matters - man gets strong and in the most upright position. Lack of focus on keeping balance causes human to be reduced to the lowest thinking and actions. Perhaps the above Verses are focused on the spiritual side of man, for he is equipped – if he knows his Lord, follows His Divine Religion, and seeks his love through performance of righteous deeds.

And Allah knows the best. Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is only ones. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
