"We make no distinction between Our Messengers" [Quran 2:285]

1- Prophets are raised to Heavens after death
2- Prophet Muhammad died too
3- What about Jesus then?

1- Prophets are raised to Heavens after death

Death of Prophets in Hadiths and Quran

Then, when We decreed (Solomon's) death, nothing showed them his death except a little worm of the earth, which kept (slowly) gnawing away at his staff: so when he fell down, the Jinns saw plainly that if they had known the unseen, they would not have tarried in the humiliating Penalty (of their Task). [Quran 34:14]

Abu Hurairah narrated: “The Angel of Death was sent to Moses (pbuh). When he came to Moses, Moses slapped him on the eye. The Angel returned to his Lord and said: ‘You have sent me to a slave who does not want to die.’ Allah said: ‘Return to him and tell him to put his hand on the back of an ox and for every hair that will come under it, he will be granted one year of life.’ Moses said: ‘O Lord! What will happen after that?’ Allah replied: ‘then death.’ Moses said: ‘Let it come now!’ Moses then requested Allah to let him die close to the Holy Land so that he would be at a distance of a stone’s throw from it.” Abu Hurairah added: “Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) said: ‘If I were there, I would show you his grave below the red sandhill on the side of the road.’” (Sahih Al Bukhari)

Prophet Moses In Heaven
We all know Prophet Moses has died, but where he is?
"On the night when I was taken up to the Heavens I passed by Moses (Soul) and he was standing in Prayer in his grave" [Saheeh Muslim 4: no 5858]
Moreover,
The Sahih al-Bukhari, volume 4,Book 54, Hadith number 429 which also conveys Prophet Muhammad night's journey is enough to tell us that Prophet are raised to Heavens after death. The hadith specially refers Prophet Adam, Moses, John the Baptist, Jesus, etc being in Heaven

So from above we can conclude that are Prophets are raised to Heavens after death

2- Prophet Muhammad died too

The Quran says in Surah Al-e-Imran 3:185 “ Every soul shall have a taste of death.”
Specially refering to Prophet Muhammad's death Quran says
"Muhammad is no more than an Apostle: many were the Apostles that passed away before him. If he died or were slain will ye then turn back on your heels?" [Quran 3:144]

From Hadith
“Aisha said, "I went to Abu Bakr (during his fatal illness) and he asked me, 'In how many garments was the Prophet shrouded?' She replied, 'In three Suhuliya pieces of white cloth of cotton, and there was neither a shirt nor a turban among them.' Abu Bakr further asked her, 'On which day did the Prophet die?' She replied, 'He died on Monday" [Sahih Bukhari 2:469]

The earth is forbidden to eat Prophet's body
"Allah has forbidden the earth from consuming the bodies of the Prophets" [Abu Dawood vol 1 : no 1042 Saheeh]

From above we can conclude the two things

1- Prophet Muhammad has died
2- All of the Prophets send by Allah has died and Muhammad was the last Messenger
3- Prophet's are ascended to Heaven after the death and so is Muhammad
4- Quran claims that Allah make no difference between one of His messengers (2:136, 285, and 3:84 etc.)

3- What about Jesus?

Jesus was raised to Heavens without getting being dead and will return to earth during the end times to destroy the False Messiah.
This create no distinction between him and other Prophets, rather it tells us that Allah has assigned different task to different Prophets but every Prophet is same in the sight of Allah. If Jesus wasn't raised to Heaven that might made have a distinction, that is why Quran specifically tell us that Jesus too raised to Heavens in Chapter 3 Surah Al Imran Verse Number 55.
However, he will return and will get die as all Prophet does.

"And those who believe in Allah and His messengers and make no distinction between any of them (in belief), to them He will grant their rewards." (4:152)
