Smoke After Big Bang In Quran

After the Big bang Big Bang and Expanding Universe In Quran there was only hot smoke and the universe was cooling down, until the matters formed. Speaking of the origin and nature of this universe, everybody knows that it was nothing but a mass of smoke and gaseous at the beginning. This certainly is mentioned in Quran

"He placed firmly embedded mountains on it, towering over it, and blessed it and measured out its nourishment in it, laid out for those who seek it-all in four days. Then He turned to heaven when it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come willingly or unwillingly." They both said, "We come willingly." (Qur'an, 41:10-11)

Here Quran clearly states that after the event of great explosion and during the formation of Universe everything was nothing but smoke, Further it also talk about two energy (Earth's Gravitational Force) and Heaven (Dark energy) to come willingly to form the Earth our planet. This was also noted in Tafsir by Ibn Khatir

Read : Dark Energy and Gravity in Quran

Quote from Ibn Khaitr Tafsir

"(and said to it and to the earth: "Come both of you willingly or unwillingly.'') meaning, `respond to My command and be subjected to this action, willingly or unwillingly.'
(They both said: "We come willingly.'') meaning, `we will respond to You willingly and everything that You want to create in us -- angels, Jinn and men -- will all be obedient to You."

So how could an illiterate man 1400 years ago came to know of Universe being just a hot smoke.?

"Nay, but they, the clear Ayat [i.e the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad SAW written like verses in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] are preserved in the breasts of those who have been given knowledge (from the people of the Scriptures). And none but the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) deny Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)." [Quran 29:49]

The Expanding Universe In Quran

The American astronomer Edwin Hubble made the observations in 1925 and was the first to prove that the universe is expanding. He proved that there is a direct relationship between the speeds of distant galaxies and their distances from Earth. This is now known as Hubble's Law. There was no such information that existed before his discovery. He suggested that space is expanding from the Big Bang and the acceleration of dark energy. But the objects embedded in space, like planets, stars, and galaxies stay exactly the same size. As space expands, it carries galaxies away from each other.

The galaxies outside of our own are moving away from us, and the ones that are farthest away are moving the fastest. This means that no matter what galaxy you happen to be in, all the other galaxies are moving away from you. However, the galaxies are not moving through space, they are moving in space, because space is also moving. In other words, the universe has no center; everything is moving away from everything else.

The expanding of Space is mentioned in Quran in the following verse
With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. [Quran 51:47]

Quran 1400 years ago mentions the expanding of Universe, it states the space comes into being with power and since then it is constantly expanded. This is another proof that Quran is a book from Allah and narrates many signs regarding Him.

"Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding." [Quran 3:190]

What Qualities Does Allah Loves?
-------------------------------------------------------

"Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful." [3:31]

"But yes, whoever fulfills his commitment and fears Allah - then indeed, Allah loves those who fear Him." [3:76]

"Who spend [in the cause of Allah ] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good;" [3:134]

"..Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves." [2:222]

"And how many a prophet has fought with whom were many worshippers of the Lord; so they did not become weak-hearted on account of what befell them in Allah's way, nor did they weaken, nor did they abase themselves; and Allah loves the patient." [3:146]

"...For Allah doth love the righteous" [9:7]

"Do not stand [for prayer] within it - ever. A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves; and Allah loves those who purify themselves." [9:108]

"And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah . And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly." [49:9]

"Thus it is due to mercy from Allah that you deal with them gently, and had you been rough, hard hearted, they would certainly have dispersed from around you; pardon them therefore and ask pardon for them, and take counsel with them in the affair; so when you have decided, then place your trust in Allah; surely Allah loves those who trust." [3:159]

"(They like to) listen to falsehood, to devour anything forbidden. So if they come to you (O Muhammad SAW), either judge between them, or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they cannot hurt you in the least. And if you judge, judge with justice between them. Verily, Allah loves those who act justly." [5:42]

"And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me – indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be [rightly] guided" [2:186]

Those who follow the Apostle, the unlettered Prophet, Whom they find mentioned in their own Scriptures, in the Torah and the Gospel... (Holy Qu'ran: VII - 157)

BIBLE PROPHECIES ABOUT THE ADVENT OF MUHAMMAD
Prophets In Bible Prayed as Muslims Prays Today
Abraham is widely regarded as the Patriarch of monotheism and the common father of the Jews, Christians and Muslims. Through His second son, Isaac, came all Israelite prophets including such towering figures as Jacob, Joseph, Moses, David, Solomon and Jesus. May peace and blessings be upon them all. The advent of these great prophets was in partial fulfillment of God's promises to bless the nations of earth through the descendents of Abraham (Genesis12:2-3).Such fulfillment is wholeheartedly accepted by Muslims whose faith considers the belief in and respect of all prophets an article of faith.

BLESSINGS OF ISHMAEL AND ISAAC
Was the first born son of Abraham (Ishmael) and his descendants included in God's covenant and promise? A few verses from the Bible may help shed some light on this question;
1) Genesis 12:2-3 speaks of God's promise to Abraham and his descendants before any child was born to him.
2) Genesis 17:4 reiterates God's promise after the birth of Ishmael and before the birth of Isaac.
3) In Genesis, ch. 21. Isaac is specifically blessed but Ishmael was also specifically blessed and promised by God to become "a great nation" especially in Genesis 21:13, 18.
4) According to Deuteronomy 21:15-17 the traditional rights and privileges of the first born son are not to be affected by the social status of his mother (being a "free" woman such as Sarah, Isaac's mother, or a "Bondwoman" such as Hagar, Ishmael's mother). This is only consistent with the moral and humanitarian principles of all revealed faiths.
5) The full legitimacy of Ishmael as Abraham's son and "seed" and the full legitimacy of his mother, Hagar, as Abraham's wife are clearly stated in Genesis 21:13 and 16:3. After Jesus, the last Israelite messenger and prophet, it was time that God's promise to bless Ishmael and his descendants be fulfilled. Less than 600years after Jesus, came the last messenger of God, Muhammad, from the progeny of Abraham through Ishmael. God's blessing of both of the main branches of Abraham's family tree was now fullfilled. But are there additional corroborating evidence that the Bible did in fact foretell the advent of prophet Muhammad?

MUHAMMAD:
Muhammad mentioned 32 times in Bible
The Prophet Like Unto Moses
Long time after Abraham, God's promise to send the long-awaited Messenger was repeated this time in Moses' words.
In Deuteronomy 18:18, Moses spoke of the prophet to be sent by God who is:
1) From among the Israelite's "brethren", a reference to their Ishmaelite cousins as Ishmael was the other son of Abraham who was explicitly promised to become a "great nation".
2) A prophet like unto Moses. There were hardly any two prophets ,who were so much alike as Moses and Muhammad. Both were given comprehensive law code of life, both encountered their enemies and were victors in miraculous ways, both were accepted as prophets/statesmen and both migrated following conspiracies to assassinate them. Analogies between Moses and Jesus overlooks not only the above similarities but other crucial ones as well (e.g. the natural birth, family life and death of Moses and Muhammad but not of Jesus, who was regarded by His followers as the Son of God and not exclusively a messenger of God, as Moses and Muhammad were and as Muslim belief Jesus was).

THE AWAITED PROPHET WAS TO COME FROM ARABIA
Destruction of Trinity
Deuteronomy 33:1-2 combines references to Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. It speaks of God (i.e. God's revelation) coming from Sinai, rising from Seir (probably the village of Sa'ir near Jerusalem) and shining forth from Paran. According to Genesis 21:21, the wilderness of Paran was the place where Ishmael settled (i.e. Arabia, specifically Mecca).
Indeed the King James version of the Bible mentions the pilgrims passing through the valley of Ba'ca (another name of Mecca) in Psalms 84:4-6.
Isaiah 42:1-13 speaks of the beloved of God. His elect and messenger who will bring down a law to be awaited in the isles and who "shall not fail nor be discouraged till he have set judgement on earth." Verse 11, connects that awaited one with the descendants of Ke'dar. Who is Ke'dar? According toGenesis 25:13, Ke'dar was the second son of Ishmael, the ancestor of prophet Muhammad.

MUHAMMAD'S MIGRATION FROM MECCA TO MEDINA: PROPHECIED IN THE BIBLE?
Habakkuk 3:3 speaks of God (God's help) coming from Te'man (an Oasis North of Medina according to J. Hasting's Dictionary of the Bible), and the holy one (coming) from Paran. That holy one who under persecution migrated from Paran (Mecca) to be received enthusiastically in Medina was none but prophet Muhammad.
Indeed the incident of the migration of the prophet and his persecuted followers is vividly described inIsaiah 21:13-17. That section foretold as well about the battle of Badr in which the few ill-armed faithful miraculously defeated the "mighty" men of Ke'dar, who sought to destroy Islam and intimidate their own folks who turned -to Islam.

THE QUR'AN (KORAN) FORETOLD IN THE BIBLE?
Can we Prove Quran is From God?
For twenty-three years, God's words (the Qur'an) were truely put into Muhammad's mouth. He was not the "author" of the Qur'an. The Qur'an was dictated to him by Angel Gabriel who askedMuhammad to simply repeat the words of the Qur'an as he heard them. These words were then committed to memory and to writing by those who hear them during Muhammad's life time and under his supervision.
Was it a coincidence that the prophet "like unto Moses" from the "brethren" of the Israelites (i.e. from the lshmaelites) was also described as one in whose mouth God will put his words and that he will speak in the name of God, (Deuteronomy 18:18-20). Was it also a coincidence the "Paraclete" that Jesus foretold to come after him was described as one who "shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak (John 16:13)
Was it another coincidence that Isaiah ties between the messenger connected with Ke'dar and a new song (a scripture in a new language) to be sang unto the Lord (Isaiah 42:10-11). More explicitly, prophesies Isaiah "For with stammering lips, and another tongue, will he speak to this people" (Isaiah 28:11). This latter verse correctly describes the "stammering lips" of Prophet Muhammadreflecting the state of tension and concentration he went through at the time of revelation. Another related point is that the Qur'an was revealed in piece-meals over a span of twenty three years. It is interesting to compare this with Isaiah 28:10 whichspeaks of the same thing.

THAT PROPHET- PARACLETE- MUHAMMAD
Up to the time of Jesus (peace be upon him), the Israelites were still awaiting for that prophet like unto Moses prophecied in Deuteronomy 18:18. When John the Baptist came, they asked him if he was Christ and he said "no". They asked him if he was Elias and he said "no". Then, in apparent reference to Deuteronomy 18:18, they asked him "Art thou that Prophet" and he answered, "no". (John 1: 1 9-2 1).
In the Gospel according to John (Chapters 14, 15, 16) Jesus spoke of the "Paraclete" or comforter who will come after him, who will be sent by Father as another Paraclete, who will teach new things which the contemporaries of Jesus could not bear. While the Paraclete is described as the spirit of truth, (whose meaning resemble Muhammad's famous title Al-Amin, the trustworthy), he is identified in one verse as the Holy Ghost (John 14:26). Such a designation is however inconsistent with the profile of that Paraclete. In the words of the Dictionary of the Bible, (Ed. J. Mackenzie) "These items, it must be admitted do not give an entirely coherent picture."
Indeed history tells us that many early Christians understood the Paraclete to be a man and not a spirit. This might explain the followings who responded to some who claimed, without meeting the criteria stipulated by Jesus, to be the awaited "Paraciete".
It was Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who was the Paraclete, Comforter, helper, admonisher sent by God after Jesus. He testified of Jesus, taught new things which could not be borne at Jesus' time, he spoke what he heard (revelation), he dwells with the believers (through his well-preserved teachings). Such teachings will remain forever because he was the last messenger of God, the only Universal Messenger to unite the whole of humanity under God and on the path of PRESERVED truth. He told of many things to come which "came to pass" in the minutest detail meeting, the criterion given by Moses to distinguish between the true prophet and the false prophets (Deuteronomy 18:22). He did reprove the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgement (John 16:8-11)

WAS THE SHIFT OF RELIGIOUS LEADERSHIP PROPHECIED?
Jesus As A Prophet In Bible
8 passages from Bible to proof that Jesus wasn't god
Following the rejection of the last Israelite prophet, Jesus, it was about time that God's promise to make Ishmael a great nation be fulfilled (Genesis 21:13, 18)
In Matthew 21:19-21, Jesus spoke of the fruitless fig tree (A Biblical symbol of prophetic heritage) to be cleared after being given a last chance of three years (the duration of Jesus' ministry) to give fruit. In a later verse in the same chapter, Jesus said: "Therefore, say I unto you, The Kingdom of God shall be taken away from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruit thereof" (Matthew 21:43). That nation of Ishmael's descendants (the rejected stone in Matthew 21:42) which was victorious against all super-powers of its time as prophecied by Jesus: "And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken, but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder" (Matthew 21:44).

OUT OF CONTEXT COINCIDENCE?
Is it possible that the numerous prophecies cited here are all individually and combined out of context misinterpretations? Is the opposite true, that such infrequently studied verses fit together consistently and clearly point to the advent of the man who changed the course of human history, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Is it reasonable to conclude that all these prophecies, appearing in different books of the Bible and spoken by various prophets at different times were all coincidence? If this is so here is another strange "coincidence"!
One of the signs of the prophet to come from Paran (Mecca) is that he will come with "ten thousands of saints" (Deuteronomy 33:2 KJV). That was the number of faithful who accompanied Prophet Muhammad to Paran (Mecca) in his victorious, bloodless return to his birthplace to destroy the remaining symbols of idolatry in the Ka'bah.

Says God as quoted by Moses:
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. (Deuteronomy 18:19)

Do read the following :
The Unbitter Persecution of Muslims by the Hands of Makkans

After the treaty of Hudaibiyah was broken following an attack on Muslims, Prophet ordered Muslims to march to Makkah. Precautions were taken so that Makkans should not get aware of it.  It was the 10th day of Ramadaan in the year 8 Hijri that an army of 10,000 Muslims marched towards Makkah. The Muslims encamped at Mar-ur-Zahraan, a place a few kilometers from Makkah. As the news reached reached Makkans they feared and tried to negotiate with Muslims. The Prophet Muhammad make sure that no harm will be done to them.

Abu Sufyan the chief of Makkah at that time make some attempts to have another treaty with Mulims and Muhammad. He managed to contact some Muslims including unlce of Muhammad, Al-Abbas but all of his efforts were failed

The Muslims entered Makkah peacefully and there was no bloodshed. Abu Sufyan who was the present chief of Makkah and a bitter enemy of Prophet accepted Islam at that moment. Prophet said the following about Abu Sufyan's house

"Even he Who enters the house of Abu Sufyan will be safe, He who lays down arms will be safe, He who locks his door will be safe" (Page 329, Al-Kamil fi al-Tarikh by Ibn al-Athir)

The most bitter enemy was touched with general amnesty (general pardon) of Rasulullah and accepted Islaam. Rasulullah purified the sacred House of Allah (Ka'ba) removing all its 360 idols and stones. He along with his companions visited the Kabah. The idols were broken and their gods were destroyed. Muhammad keep reciting the following verses of Quran
"Truth has come and Falsehood vanished and no more shall falsehood return" (Quran 17:8)
The sanctuary of the Ka'ba contained such idols as Hubal, Latt and Manaat. They saw their downfall for they were nothing but pieces of stones. Now every nook and corner of Makkah witnessed and resounded with the call of Tauheed. Rasulullah also proclaimed that :
'Allah has forbidden the sale of intoxicants and usury (Interest) is declared as Haraam'.

Then Muhammad turning to the people said: "O Quraish, what do you think of the treatment that I should accord you?"
And they said, "Mercy, O Prophet of Allah. We expect nothing but good from you." Thereupon Muhammad declared:
"I speak to you in the same words as Yūsuf spoke to his brothers. This day there is no reproof against you; Go your way, for you are free."

The Early Persecution Of Muslims

The Early Persecution Of Muslims

"Muslims were persecuted during early Islamic periods and are still persecuted today" (Shafay Islam)

The persecution of Muslims is not a new matter. Muslim have been in subject of persecution during early periods of Islam and are uptil now. The persecution began as people started converting to Islam. The seventh convert to Islam named Sumayyah bint Khabbab was killed. He was tortured first by Abu Jahl [1].
Muhammad was protected somewhat by the influence of his family, but even he was subjected to such abuse; while he was praying near the Kaaba, Abu Lahab threw the entrails of a sacrificed camel over him, and Abu Lahab's wife Umm Jamil would regularly dump filth outside his door. The master of the slave Bilal ibn Rabah (who would become the first muezzin) would take him out into the desert in the heat of midday and place a heavy rock on his chest, demanding that he forswear his religion and pray to the polytheists' gods and goddesses, until Abu Bakr bought him and freed him.

Some torture incidents were

The Quraish tried to bribe Rasulullah to give up Islam in exchange for gifts of wealth or any thing he would like. But our Prophet did not accept their bribe. The Quraish decided to torture and persecute even more.
Hazrat Bilal , the slave of Umayya-bin-Khalaf, was laid flat on his back on hot sand. A hot heavy stone was placed on his chest and he was beaten while his hands were tied behind his back. Hazrat Uthman, a rich and prosperous man of the Banu Umayya tribe was tied up with ropes by his uncle and beaten and tortured.
Hazrat Ammar , his father Hazrat Yaasir and his mother Sumayyah (R.A.) had embraced Islam. Abu Jahl killed Hazrat Sumayya (R.A.) with a sharp spear.
Abu Jahl also beat slave lady Hazrat Zaeerah in such a way that she became totally blind.
Some helpless Muslims like Hazrat Khabbab-bin-Aett were pushed into a fire.
Sources : Biography of Muhammad by Inter-Islam

Some Free Muslim and Muslim male and female who were tortured are:

Male
Yasir ibn Amir – tortured and killed.
Bilal ibn Ribah – lied on burning sand, had a very heavy stone put on his chest with somebody jumping on it.
Khabbab ibn al-Aratt – lied on burning sand, had hot metal put on his head,
Abu Fakih – tied and dragged on burning sand, had a very heavy stone put on his chest
Ammar ibn Yasir – tortured.

Female
Sumayyah bint Khabbab – killed by spear.
Al-Nahdiah – tortured
Umm Ubays – tortured
Lubaynah– extensively beaten
Zinnira – beaten until she lost her eyesight temporarily

Free Muslims
Muhammad – entrails of animals thrown at him while praying, people trying to strangle him, subjected to boycott, assassination attempt.
Umm Kulthum bint Muhammad – was divorced on orders of Abu Lahab
Ruqayyah bint Muhammad – was divorced on orders of Abu Lahab
Sa'd ibn Ubadah – tortured

The persecution was much more. Quraish even tried to kill the Prophet
Ibn Abbas reported: Regarding the verse, “We will call the angels of Hell,” (96:18) Abu Jahl said, “If I see Muhammad praying, I will stomp on his neck!” So the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, “If he does, he will be seized by the angels.”
[Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Book 44, Number 3348, Sahih]

The Quraish tried to kill , torture and abuse as much Muslims as they can. They even went to Abu Talib and asked him to stop his nephew to stop preaching Islam. However, to this Muhammad replied
:”O my uncle! By God if they put the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left on condition that I abandon this course, until God has made me victorious, or I perish therein, I would not abandon it."

Quraish made Muslims suffer economically, socially and politically. They even ban trading with the clan of Muhammad that was Banu Hashim. After the persecution aroused and it become unbearable for Muslims Prophet Muhammad ordered Muslims to migrate to Abyssinia. Muslims left behind there home. money, relatives, assets and everything for the sake of Islam and Allah. They were tortured day by day by Quraish, the slaves under Quraish were abused more than anyone else. Muslims become weak and poor but they didn't let go there faith in Allah. In this regard following verses of Quran was revealed:

Quran 16:41
"To those who leave their homes in the cause of Allah, after suffering oppression,- We will assuredly give a goodly home in this world; but truly the reward of the Hereafter will be greater. If they only realised (this)!"

Quran 16:110
But verily thy Lord,- to those who leave their homes after trials and persecutions,- and who thereafter strive and fight for the faith and patiently persevere,- Thy Lord, after all this is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

The Abyssinian emigration gave the Meccans a conclusive proof that the Muslims were ready to run all risks, and undergo every form of hardship in the cause of Islam. They would shrink from no danger in the path of God. The Meccans did their utmost to check this tide of emigration, but all in vain. It was not until seven years after Muhammad's flight from Mecca that they rejoined their Muslim brethren at Medina. The Muslims finally returned from Abyssinia in 7 A.H. but to Medina and not Mecca.

However, Prophet Muhammad forgive the Makkans on the conquest of Makkah. Read:

Who Was The First Muslim?

Who Was The First Muslim?

Who Was The First Muslim?

Bismillah Hir Rehman Ir Raheem

Like us on facebook:

Who was the first Muslims ?

Non-Muslims contradicts Quran by saying, that Quran states Muhammad was the first Muslim and Jesus and Abraham was also a Muslims according to Quran. Then how come Muhammad be the first one?

"When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims." Surah 3:52

" Ibrahim was not a Jew nor a Christian but he was (an) upright (man), a Muslim (musliman), and he was not one of the polytheists." Surah 3:67

So their argument is pretty much that some Quranic verses say Muhammad is the first Muslim while there are other passages showing that there are Muslims before Muhammad. Is this a contradiction? No, you must understand what Muhammad meant and in what context.
Now The Quran says:

"Say: Shall I choose for a protecting friend other than Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, Who feedeth and is never fed? Say: I am ordered to be the first to surrender [aslama] (unto Him). And be not thou (O Muhammad) of the idolaters." Surah 6:14

"He hath no associate. This am I commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims." Surah 6:163
Say, "Indeed, my Lord has guided me to a straight path - a correct religion - the way of Abraham, inclining toward truth. And he was not among those who associated others with Allah ." (Surah 6:161)

" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allah , [being] sincere to Him in religion. And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims." (Surah 39:11-12)

What this basically and simply means that Muhammad is commanded to be the first Muslim AMONG HIS PEOPLE. That is all it means, it means that Muhammad is the first Muslim among his people, and is commanded to be the first Muslim among his people. So it does not contradict the other verses, Muhammad is not the first Muslim on the planet, it just means the first Muslim among his people. Note what one of the verses also say:

"Say: Shall I choose for a protecting friend other than Allah, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, Who feedeth and is never fed? Say: I am ordered to be the first to surrender [aslama] (unto Him). And be not thou (O Muhammad) of the idolaters." Surah 6:14

It tells Muhammad to be not of the idolaters, who were the idolaters? The idolaters were the Quraysh, they were Muhammad's people, so hence it is crystal clear when it is said for Muhammad to be the first Muslim it just basically means among his people.

So hence the passages of Muhammad being commanded to be the first Muslim do not contradict these passages:

When Jesus found Unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be My helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in Allah, and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims."
(Surah. 3:52)

They are not all alike; of the followers of the Book there is an upright party; they recite Allah's communications in the nighttime and they adore (Him). They believe in Allah and the last day, and they enjoin what is right and forbid the wrong and they strive with one another in hastening to good deeds, and those are among the good. And whatever good they do, they shall not be denied it, and Allah knows those who guard (against evil). S. 3:113-115

Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them said: ‘This is nothing but evident magic.’ And behold! I inspired the disciples to have faith in Me and Mine Messenger: they said, 'We have faith, and do thou bear witness that we bow to Allah as Muslims.’" (Surah 5:110-111)

Also Read ..
Surah. 27:30-31, 42, 44
Surah. 22:78

So there is no contradiction what so ever. Adam was indeed the first Muslim, the first Muslim among mankind. Muhammad is commanded to be the first Muslim among his people. That is all that is meant by Muhammad being the first Muslim. 27:30-31
Indeed, it is from Solomon, and indeed, it reads: 'In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
Be not haughty with me but come to me in submission [as Muslims].' "
Surah 27:42
So when she arrived, it was said [to her], "Is your throne like this?" She said, "[It is] as though it was it." [Solomon said], "And we were given knowledge before her, and we have been Muslims [in submission to Allah ].

Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allah , [being] sincere to Him in religion.
And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims." Surah 6:14

No partner has He. And this I have been commanded, and I am the first [among you] of the Muslims."
And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you "Muslims" before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. So establish prayer and give zakah and hold fast to Allah . He is your protector; and excellent is the protector, and excellent is the helper.

10 Misconceptions about Islam

10 Misconceptions about Islam

1. Misconception: Muslims are terrorists

This is by far the biggest misconception of Islam, given unfairly by stereotyping and the public image that the media gives. Has anyone else noticed how when a specific group of people attack another group of people it is labeled as a ‘hate crime’, but when a Muslim opens fire on anybody it is quickly regarded as ‘terrorism’. Many political dictators and officials or extremist groups use the name of Islam as a strategy to garner followers and attention when many of their practices go against the true basis of Islam. The media has also portrayed Islam as a cult or a club where if you join you become a terrorist and that is now part of your agenda. However all over the world people practice Islam in the true form and use it as a way of life. There are many verses in the Quran that go against the idea of terrorism. Some of these verses include “fight in the way of Allah those that fight you but do not transgress limits for god does not love transgressors.” This basically means do not fight except in self defense and even in doing so do not go beyond defense. Another verse states “if they seek peace, then you seek peace,” which means do not attack people for no reason or kill innocent people. There is nowhere in Islam, whether it be in the Quran or the teachings of Muhammad, that promotes the killing of innocent people. Pictured above is a conference of Muslims against Terrorism.

Are All Muslims Terrorsits ?

2. Misconception: Islam was spread by the sword

Historian De lacey O’Leary states “History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd myths that historians have ever repeated.” There is no record in history that shows people being forced by sword point to convert to Islam. When Islam spread through countries they would set up private churches and synagogues for the non Muslims they were governing and because of the good treatment they had received they themselves would convert. If one considers the small number of Muslims who initially spread Islam to the west all the way from Spain and Morocco and into east from India and China one would realize that such a small group of people could not force others to be members of a religion against their will. It is also interesting to note that when the Mongols invaded and conquered large portions of the Islamic empire, instead of destroying the religion they adopted it!

3. Misconception: Women have no rights

The image of a woman wearing a veil from head to toe, a woman who gets unfair justice or a woman who is not allowed to drive is an all too familiar notion when it comes to women treatment in Islam. And while there are Muslim countries in the world that do implement many harsh rulings against women, this should not be portrayed as Islamic law. Many of these countries have cultural differences that go against the teachings of Islam. It should be noted that during pre-Islam Arabia women were used for fornication only and had no independence. The birth of a daughter in a family was considered humiliating and the practice of female infanticide was uncontrolled. When Islam came to being, verses in the Quran condemned the practice of female infanticide. Islam gave back many human rights to the woman and Muhammad(s) was even reported saying that “women are the twin halves of men.” A Muslim woman is allowed to reject and accept any suitor for marriage and has the right to seek divorce. There is nothing in Islam that forbids a Muslim woman from exiting her house and is allowed to drive. Also in regards to education, a woman is obligated to seek knowledge and it is considered a sin if she refuses.

Equality of Men and Women In Islam
Status of Woman In Islam

4. Misconception: Muslims are savages and barbaric during war

Quite the contrary, when it comes to the conduct of war there are ten rule that every Muslim army must obey:

1. Do not commit treachery 2. Do not deviate from the right path 3. Do not mutilate dead bodies 4. Do not kill children 5. Do not kill women 6. Do not kill aged men 7. Do not harm or burn trees 8. Do not destroy buildings 9. Do not destroy an enemy’s flock, unless you use it for your food 10. When you pass people who have devoted their lives to monastic servi leave them alone

During the crusades when Saladin defeated the franks he honored the defeated Frankish army and supplied them with food and during the thir crusade when Saladin’s enemy king Richard fell sick, Saladin sent him a of fruits and horses.

5. Misconception: The Prophet Muhammad was a pedophile

While it is true that he married a girl that was at the age of nine that does not constitute pedophilia. Historically, the age at which a girl was considered ready to be married has bee puberty. This was the case in Biblical times, and is still used today to determine the age of marriage in many parts of the world. This was part of the norm and is not something that Islam invented. The girl he got married to had reached puberty 3 years before marriage. It is upon reaching the age of puberty that a person, man or woman, becomes legally responsible for their actions under Islamic law. At this point they are allowed to make their own decisions and are held accountable for their actions. It should also be mentioned that in Islam, it is unlawful to force someone to marry someone that they do not want to marry. There is no indication that the society at that time criticized this marriage due to the girl’s young age. On the contrary, the marriage was encouraged by the girl’s family and was welcomed by the community at large.

6. Misconception: Jihad means to fight for the sake of god

The true Arabic meaning of the word jihad is struggle. However in Islam it is often used to describe the striving in the way of god. There are many forms of jihad but the most important ones are Jihad al-nafs (jihad against ones self), jihad bil-lisan (jihad by being vocal), jihad bil yad (jihad by using action), and Jihad bis saif (jihad by using the sword). Each jihad is ranked differently and it was reported that Muhammad returned from a battle and said “We have returned from the lesser jihad (going into battle) to the greater jihad (the struggle of the soul).” This means that a Muslim struggling against himself and his soul is more important than the jihad of going into war. Another misconception is that only when a person dies in war does that person becomes a martyr. This is, however, false and it is believed that anyone doing anything for the sake of god and is killed becomes a martyr. A person who dies while performing pilgrimage in Mecca, a woman who dies while giving birth, or even someone who dies in a car crash while he was on his way to the mosque are all considered martyrs.

7. Misconception: Islam is intolerable to other religions

‘Kill the infidel’ is the phrase many people believe is the ideology that Muslims have towards the non Muslims. This, though, is not a correct portrayal of Islamic law. Islam has always given respect and freedom of religion to all faiths. In the Quran it says “God does not forbid you, with regards to those who fight you not for religion nor drive you away out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them, for god loves those who are just.” There are many historical examples of Muslim tolerance towards other faith. One such example was when the caliph Umar was ruler of Jerusalem from 634 to 644 AD. He granted freedom to all religious communities and said that the inhabitants of his city were safe and that their places of worship would never be taken away from them. He also set up courts that were designated to the non Muslim minorities. Whenever he would visit holy areas he would ask for the Christian patriarch Sophronius (pictured above) to accompany him.

8. Misconception: Children have no rights

Children, according to Islamic law, have various rights. One of these is the right to be properly brought up, raised, and educated. Islam encourages children to be brought up well because it is the responsibility of an adult to raise his child to become a moral and ethical adult. Children must also be treated equally. When giving financial gifts they should all be the same amount and there should be no preference among them. Children are even permitted to take moderately from their parent’s wealth to sustain themselves if the parent declines to give them proper funds for living. A child is also not allowed to get hit in the face or hit by anything larger than a pencil.
There is one of HADITH of Prophet Muhammad(P.B.U.H) which says that "The one who don't give respect to elders and is not kind with youngers is not from us."

9. Misconception: Muslims Hate Jesus

There are many similarities between the historical references of Christianity and Islam. Many people are amazed to find out that according to Muslim belief, Jesus is one of the greatest messengers of God. One cannot be a Muslim without believing in the virgin birth and the many miracles of Jesus Christ. Jesus is also mentioned in many verses of the Quran and is often used as an example of good virtue and character. However, the main difference between Christianity and Islam is that Muslims do not believe that Jesus was God.
Quran has an entire chapter on Mary . The Chapter is called Surat Maryam.
"That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth
about which they are in dispute.
It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is
He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it,
"Be," and it is."
[Surat Maryam (19:34-35)

10. Misconception: All Muslims are Arabs

The common image of a Muslim is a turbaned dark Arab man with a long beard. However this image is part of the minority of Muslims. Arabs make only 15% of the world’s Muslim population. As a matter of fact the Middle East comes in third with East Asia coming in at first (69%) and Africa (27%) coming in at second. Another common misconception is that all Arabs are Muslims. While the vast majority of Arabs are Muslims (75%), there are many other religions that Arabs practice including Christianity and Judaism.

Is Every Yawning From Satan?

1- Response
2- What Does "Shaitan enters/falls in man mouth means"
3- Science confirms that yawning can lead to relaxation, sexual intercourse and boredom
4- Hypocrisy of Christian Missionaries

Responding to many Christian and Non-Muslims Missionaries. Is "Yawning from Satan"?

The particluar Hadiths are
Bukhari: Book 4: Volume 54: Hadith 509
“Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Yawning is from Satan and if anyone of you yawns, he should check his yawning as much as possible, for if anyone of you (during the act of yawning) should say: 'Ha', Satan will laugh at him."

Muslim: Book 42: Hadith 7130
“The son of Abu Said al-Khudri reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: When one of you yawns, he should keep his mouth shut with the help of his hand, for it is the devil that enters therein.

So Non-Muslims refer to Muslims with this hadith stating that yawning is from Satan, but is every yawning from Satan?. Every Yawning is not from Satan. The yawning come between the prayers are considered at from Satan particularly a act from Satan. The below hadith confirms which yawning is from Satan

Hadith - Mishkat, Narrated AbuHurayrah , transmitted by Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah.
" Allah's Messenger said, Yawning in prayer is an act of Shaytan, so when one of you yawns he should restrain it as much as possible. In another version it the word are: He should place his hand upon his mouth.

From the above source it is confirmed that the yawning during the prayers are from Satan. Where as physical yawn is not from Satan.

There are many other hadith regards to this topic:

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Yawning is from Shaytaan, so if any of you feels the urge to yawn, let him resist it as much as he can." (Muslim, 2994)

Abu Hurayrah reported that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Sneezing is from Allaah and yawning is from Shaytaan. If any of you yawns, let him place his hand over his mouth. If he says ‘Ah, ah!’ (makes a noise when yawning), Shaytaan laughs from inside him." Abu ‘Eesaa said: this is a saheeh hasan hadeeth. (Sunan al-Tirmidhi, no. 2746; classified as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 4130)

According to another report also narrated by Imaam Ahmad, Shaytaan enters when a person yawns. (Saheeh al-Jaami’, 426)

From the reports quoted above, we may summarize the following:

1. That Shaytaan prompts the human to yawn, which is indicative of laziness and sluggishness. (So he might not concentrate on prayers)
2. That Shaytaan enters the person who yawns. (Explanation Below)
3. That Shaytaan laughs at man and makes fun of his ugly appearance when he is in that state.

The person who is praying must take care of the following:

1. He should resist yawning.
2. He should cover his mouth
3. He should suppress his voice (not make a sound).

What Does "Shaitan enters/falls in man mouth means"?

With regard to the phrase in the report by Muslim, “the Shaytaan enters” it may be that what is meant is entering in a real sense, because although the Shaytaan flows through man like his blood, he cannot gain any control over him so long as he remembers Allah, but when a person is yawning he is not remembering Allah, so the Shaytaan is able to enter him in a real sense. Or it may be that what is meant by entering is gaining control over him, because the one who enters a thing is able to gain control of it.

As for why Satan enters the body of a Muslim, it is to cause doubts in his heart and mind, to distract him from remembering Allah and to distract him during prayer:

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has warned us against some of these things. “The Shaytaan comes to any one of you and says, ‘Who created such and such? Who created such and such?’ until he says, ‘Who created your Lord?’ If that happens to you, seek refuge with Allah and give up these thoughts.” Narrated by al-Bukhari, no. 3277

As Muslims, we should not be afraid of these thoughts because these thoughts are CLEAR signs of faith:
The companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to him complaining about the doubts and waswaas (Whispers) that they were suffering. In Saheeh Muslim it is narrated that Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
"Some of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to him and said, ‘We find in our hearts things that none of us dares utter.’ He said, ‘Do you really find that?’ They said, ‘Yes.’ He said, ‘That is clear faith." (2/153).

Science confirms yawning lead to sexual intercourse, relaxation, etc:

"...And while yawning is commonly associated with relaxation and drowsiness, your heart rate can rise as much as 30 percent during a yawn, and yawning is a sign of arousal, including sexual arousal.."
Source: http://tlc.howstuffworks.com/family/question572.htm

I mentioned above that during the prayers Satan seeks to cause us to relaxation, tiredness and boredom (as to deviate from our prayers) This is also confirmed by Science that the most common and accepted explanation for yawning is that it comes about as a result (Feeling) of tiredness or boredom.
Source: http://www.buzzle.com/articles/why-do-we-yawn.html

Hypocrisy of Christian Missionaries:

I find it quite funny that the Christians object to these things, it would make some sense if an atheist complained, because he doesn’t believe in Satan in the first place, but a Christian?

Yawning during taking out the Holy Cross:

“Polydore Vergil (c. 1470–1555), in his De Rerum Inventoribus, writes that it was customary to make the sign of the cross over one's mouth, since "alike deadly plague was sometime in yawning, wherefore men used to fence themselves with the sign of the cross...which custom we retain at this day."
Source: Erasmus Chil. III, cent. iv, No 95 (1508) quoted in Stevenson, Burton ed.The Macmillan Book of Proverbs,

Christians need to understand the meaning of “Metaphor” and “Parable” or “Symbolic”, what if I took this biblical verse LITERALLY:

If I am under Christian god's wrath I will fall into a adulteress mouth?

Proverbs 22:14 “The mouth of an adulteress is a deep pit; he who is under the LORD's wrath will fall into it.
So if I am under the wrath of God, I will fall into a mouth of an adulteress?
Wait, someone say “This is completely different” THINK about it, if we yawn and Shaytan falls into our mouth, what makes this Biblical verse not literal when it SAYS THE EXACT SAME THING (If God is angry at you, you fall into a mouth of an adulteress)

Equality of Man And Woman In Islam

Equality of Man And Woman In Islam

Islam recognizes that while men and women have some physical differences, spiritually they enjoy absolute equality before God. The Quran and Sunnah are unequivocal in stating that one’s gender will have absolutely no bearing on their reward or punishment in the next life.

“I shall not lose sight of the labor of any of you who labors in My way, be it man or woman; you proceed one from another…” (Quran 3:195)

“If any do deeds of righteousness,- be they male or female - and have faith, they will enter Heaven, and not the least injustice will be done to them.” (Quran 4:124)

Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure, and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.” (Quran 16:97)

“He that works evil will not be requited but by the like thereof: and he that works a righteous deed - whether man or woman - and is a Believer- such will enter the Garden (of Bliss): Therein will they have abundance without measure.” (Quran 40:40)

Indeed, the Muslim men and Muslim women - the believing men and believing women, the obedient men and obedient women, the truthful men and truthful women, the patient men and patient women, the humble men and humble women, the charitable men and charitable women, the fasting men and fasting women, the men who guard their private parts and the women who do so, and the men who remember God often and the women who do so - for all has God prepared forgiveness and a great reward.” (Quran 33:35)

“O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with God is the most pious. Verily, God is All-Knowing, All-Aware.” (Quran 49:13)

And the Most Important:

"And for women are rights over men similar to those of men over women." (Quran 2:226)

Therefore, Islam openly declares that men and women have an equal status and value before God, and piety alone differentiates one individual from another.

Does Quran 10:94 says Muslim, to ask People of Book if they are in doubt ?

There are two explanation of this Verse

Many Christians claims that Quran Surah 10:94 tells Muslims to ask People of Book that is Christians and Jews if they are in doubt about Quran.
Quran 10:94 states
"If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt."

From all of the context they just pick up this verse saying that Muslims should ask People of Book if they are in Doubt. Well let us read the whole passage.

Surah 10:90
We took the Children of Israel across the sea: Pharaoh and his hosts followed them in insolence and spite. At length, when overwhelmed with the flood, he said: "I believe that there is no god except Him Whom the Children of Israel believe in: I am of those who submit (to Allah in Islam)."

Surah 10:91
(It was said to him): "Ah now!- But a little while before, wast thou in rebellion!- and thou didst mischief (and violence)!

Surah 10:92
"This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!"

Surah 10:93
We settled the Children of Israel in a beautiful dwelling-place, and provided for them sustenance of the best: it was after knowledge had granted to them, that they fell into schisms. Verily Allah will judge between them as to the schisms amongst them, on the Day of Judgment.

Surah 10:94
If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt.

From Reading the Above Passages we can conclude that Allah helped the People of Israel and saved them from Pharaoh. He showerd His blessings upon the People of Israel and settled them in a beautiful place of Jerusalem. Yet they fell into groups and worked against Allah's order and were arrogant.
This is the mischeif that Quran says to be asked by People of the Book. And thus, this mischeif are also a part of Bible.

Moreover another explanation of this verse is according to Sami Zaatri is that
The Quran makes it clear that Muhammad (AS) is prophesised in the previous scripture:
"Those who follow the messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find mentioned in their own (scriptures),- in the law and the Gospel;- for he commands them what is just and forbids them what is evil; he allows them as lawful what is good (and pure) and prohibits them from what is bad (and impure); He releases them from their heavy burdens and from the yokes that are upon them. So it is those who believe in him, honour him, help him, and follow the light which is sent down with him,- it is they who will prosper." (7:157)

Ibn Jarir at-Tabari (d.311 A.H.-923 A.D.) comments on the verse: "God says to His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that if you are in doubt about the truthfulness of what We told you in Revelations - that the children of Israel had not differed concerning your prophet hood before you were sent by God as an Apostle to His people, for they found you prophesied in their scripture, and they knew you from the description of you given in the Torah and Injil - you must confer with those who read the sacred book before you, that is, the people of the Torah and the people of the Gospel, such as Abdullah Ibn Salam and those who, like him, were honest and had faith in you: do not ask those who are dishonest or are unbelievers." (At-Tabari, Jami', vol. II, p. 115)

At-Tabari reported Ibn Abbas as saying that the book referred to in the verse was the Torah and the Gospel; the people with whom Muhammad (peace be upon him) was commanded to confer were those who lived in Muhammad's time and believed in him. The Prophet was to turn to them if questions as to the foretelling of his own prophet hood in those books arose. The only object of possible doubt was then Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself, and the people with whom he was to confer were restricted to those who believed in his mission.Furthermore, Muhammad (peace be upon him) had been prophesied in the scriptures  - Jewish and Christian - but these prophecies had been denied by the majority of Jews and Christians except for those who had come to accept that such prophecies were truthful and had become Muslim.

So this is the context of Surah 10:94, it has all to do with asking the people of scripture about the advent of Muhammad (AS) found within the Bible.

Now some Christians and Jews will say that ? Well Muhammad is not in the Bible', well if they do say that then all that proves is that the Bible is corrupt!
The Quran states that the prophet Muhammad is in the Bible, if he is not according to what they say, then this cannot be the same Bible that the Quran is referring to. As they so often say, you can't have your cake and eat.

Miracle Of Quran | Preserving Pharaoh Body

The Quran as well as a book of guidance for all manking is also a miraculous

Quran states in
Surah 10:92
"This day shall We save thee in the body, that thou mayest be a sign to those who come after thee! but verily, many among mankind are heedless of Our Signs!"

This Verse of the Quran is tells us about the preservation of Pharaoh's body when he drowned in the river. It says that
"This day Allah will preserve Pharaoh's body so that it will become a Sign for coming generation"
Moreover, Allah Almighty knew that there will be people in the earth who will reject this Miracle and thus He further states
"But Indeed some peoples are Heedless of Our Signs"

The Quran states that Pharaoh regarded himself as a deity and responded with slanders and threats to Prophet Musa's (as) calls for him to believe in Allah. This arrogant attitude lasted until he was faced with the threat of death through drowning. The Qur'an relates that Pharaoh immediately turned to belief when faced with Allah's punishment:

"We brought the tribe of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his troops pursued them out of tyranny and enmity. Then, when he was on the point of drowning, he [Pharaoh] said: "I believe that there is no god but Him in Whom the tribe of Israel believes. I am one of the Muslims." (Qur'an, 10:90)

However it was not accepted as it was not sincere
"What, now! When previously you rebelled and were one of the corrupters? Today we will preserve your body so you can be a Sign for people who come after you. Surely many people are heedless of Our Signs."
(Qur'an, 10:91-92)

An impartial scientist like Dr. Bucaille, who (being also a Christian) was conversant with the Biblical version of Pharaoh's story as being drowned in pursuit of Prophet Moses. He was pleasantly surprised to learn that unknown to the world till only of late 20th century, the Holy Quran made definite prediction about the preservation of the body of that same Pharaoh of Moses' time. This led Dr. Bucaille to study the Holy Quran thoroughly after learning the Arabic language and accepted Islam as the truth.
The body of Pharaoh is now lying in a Cairo museum as an open miracle of the Holy Quran, for those who pay heed to the signs of Allah.

How The Quran Corrects The Bible (Wrestling)

Christian God Weak In Wrestling?

Errancy:
In the Bible God is not desribed to be the Most Powerful. Instead God is desribed to be weak and powerless.

In Genesis 32:24-30 God is charaterized as wrestling with Jacob all night long losing the match:

"And Jacob was left alone. And a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day.
When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him
Then he said, “Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”
And he said to him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Jacob.”
Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.”
Then Jacob asked him, “Please tell me your name.” But he said, “Why is it that you ask my name?” And there he blessed him
So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, saying, “For I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.”

Excuse:
Jamieson, Fausset, Brown Bible Commentary makes the excuse that Jacob saw an opporunity to squeeze a blessing out of God and took advantaqe of God's vulnerability (astaghfirullah)

"Its evident that Jacob was aware of the character of Him with who he wrestled and believing that His power, though by far superior to human was yet limited by His promise to do him good, he determined not to lose the golden opportunity of securing a blessing. And nothing gives God greater pleasure than to see the hearts of His people firmly adhering to Him" (JFB Commentary on Genesis 32:26)

Rebuttal:
This confirms the humanization of God in the Bible.

CORRECTION:

God is omnipotent and cannot be beaten by a human as God's true nature is desribed in the Quran:
And He it is Who originates the creation, then will repeat it (after it has been perished), and this is easier for Him. His is the highest description (i.e. none has the right to be worshipped but He, and there is nothing comparable unto Him) in the heavens and in the earth. And He is the All¬Mighty, the All¬Wise. (Quran 30:27)

Do you not see that Allâh has created the heavens and the earth with truth? If He will, He can remove you and bring (in your place) a new creation! (QUran 14:19)

Within those verses of the glorious Quran, we find the corrected attributes of God. If God had wanted to, He could have elimanted Jacob and he could have wiped out all the people. Thus God in the Quran does not lose against humans.

Honor Killings and Stoning Adulter in Islam or Christianity ?

What is Honor Killings?

The most common and exact defination is as follows:
The killing, usually of females, when their behavior has brought shame or dishonor on a family, such as premarital sex or “dating” outside the preferred categories. Also known as commiting "adultery"

From Christianity On Adultery:

Now we will see how both the faiths deal with Adultery

Exodus 20:14 "You shall not commit adultery."
Deuteronomy 22:22 "If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die."

Leviticus 20:10 "If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death."

Proverbs 6:32 "But a man who commits adultery lacks judgment; whoever does so destroys himself."    He destroys himself by being put to death as shown above.

Who is Adulterer according to Jesus?

Matthew 19:9 "I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery."  Wouldn't this cause the man to be put to death?

Mark 10:11 "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her."    Again, wouldn't he then be put to death since he would have committed adultery?

Mark 10:12 "And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery."    Same question I ask about the women who are considered have committed adultery.   Wouldn't they be put to death also?

Luke 16:18 "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery."

Keep in mind that you must not ignore the Old Law as said by Jesus

"Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 'The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat.  So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.'  (Matthew 23:1-3)"

"Do not think that I [Jesus] have come to abolish the Law (the Old Testament) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." (Matthew 5:17)

There are about 50% of people who are being divorced. Are they all adulterer as Jesus said ? And if they are they should be stoned to death or killed? Right?
If not why? Jesus said to follow Old Law and it states to kill the adulter and a if a person divroce his partner he has commited adultery.

On Honor Killings

Leviticus 21:9 "And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire."
Why should only a daughter of a priest gets burnt to death if she profanes herself?  Why can't this law apply to all daughters? Since the priest is the head of chruch and will make people follow what he follow or preach. ?

Islam on Adultery and Honor Killing:

"Do not go near to adultery. Surely it is a shameful deed and evil, opening roads (to other evils)" (Quran 17:32).

"Women impure are for men impure, and men impure are for women impure and women of purity are for men of purity, and men of purity are for women of purity." (Quran 24:26)

Punishment:

“The woman and the man guilty of unlawful sex (adultery or fornication), flog each of them with a hundred stripes; let not compassion move you in their case in a matter prescribed by Allah if ye believe in Allah and the Last day; and let a party of the believers witness their punishment”. (24:2)

Muslim Faith Is Actually Supported By Bible

The First step to Become a Muslim is to Declare and testify that there is no god but He that is Allah.

This is Further proof by Quran in 47:19

"..that there is no god but Allah.."

In Surah 112 Quran says

" He is Allah (God), the one and only (Lord)"

Further More this is also emphsized in many Hadiths

The Bible further proof that there no god but He (Allah)

The consistent testimony of Al-Kitab is that there is only one God. The Taurat and bible declares the same teachings in (Deuteronomy 6:4) And (Mark 12:29).
Mark 12:29 " The Lord our God is one Lord (Allah)"

Moreover, Jesus himself confess that he worship one lord

John 4:21-23
" Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the God. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the God in spirit and truth; for such people the God seeks to be His worshipers."

Jesus also never argue that there is someone other beside the god he follows as he was a monotheist

Mark 12:32
"The teacher of religious law replied to Jesus, "Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth by saying that there is only one God (Allah) and no other."
And Jesus further testifies that who believes in it is near to kingdom of Allah (God) in Mark 12:34
"When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, "You are not far from the kingdom of God."

Quran also states in 59:22
"Allah is He (God), than Whom there is no other god"

This is actually supported in bible in Deuteronomy 4:35
"LORD is God (Allah); besides him there is no other (god)"

The last point the 1 Corinthians 8:4 confirms more that there is no god but He (Allah)

"...that there is no God but one"

This is similar to to Shaadaah of Muslims

The first thing to become Muslim is to Testify
"There is no god but One (Allah)"
Quran 47:19

Women is a great issue in Christainity and In Islam

Today let us look on different verses of Quran and Bible and see which religion treats women Better

“Say to the Israelites, ‘If a man dies and leaves no son, turn his inheritance over to his daughter” Numbers 27:8 “From what is left by parents and those nearest related there is a share for men and a share for women, whether the property be small or large, -a determinate share.”

More Poylgamy In Bible
Poylgamy In Bible (Poylgamic Bible)

Divorce And Widow

“Who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.”

Leviticus 21:13-4
“If any of you die and leave widows behind, they shall wait concerning themselves four months and ten days: when they have fulfilled their term, there is no blame on you (marrying widows) if they dispose of themselves in a just and reasonable manner”
Quran 2:234

Birth Of A Woman
Loss Or a Gift (Good)?

The Roman Catholic Bible states explicitly that:
" The birth of a daughter is a loss" (Ecclesiasticus 22:3)
"If you dislike them, it may be that you dislike a thing and Allah brings through it a great deal of good." (An-Nisa’ 4:19)

Honor Killings (Punishment On Adultery, Illegal Sex)

"And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire."
(Leviticus 21:9)
"The [unmarried] woman or [unmarried] man found guilty of sexual intercourse - lash each one of them with a hundred lashes...."
(Quran 24:2)

Rights of Wife/Women

“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.” (Ephesians 5:22-24)
Wife Like Slaves ?
And for women are rights over men similar to those of men over women.
(Quran 2:228)

"Do not retain them (i.e., your wives) to harm them"
(Quran 2:231)

They (your wives) are your garment and you are a garment for them.
(Quran 2:187)

The Daughters

"And in case a man should sell his daughter as a slave girl, she will not go out in the way that the slave men go out. If she is displeasing in the eyes of her master so that he doesn't designate her as a concubine but causes her to be redeemed, he will not be entitled to sell her to a foreign people in his treacherously dealing with her." (Exodus 21:7-8)

Shamless Daughters
"Keep a headstrong daughter under firm control, or she will abuse any indulgence she receives. Keep a strict watch on her shameless eye, do not be surprised if she disgraces you"
(Ecclesiasticus 26:10-11)

In Pagan time people buried their Daughters alive Quran forbids it by saying it as Evil

Shall he keep her (daughter) with dishonor or bury her in the earth? Certainly, evil is their decision."
(Al-Nahl 16:58-59)

Prophet once said : Ibn `Abbas recounted, "Whoever had a female who was not buried nor insulted by him, and had not preferred his male children to her, Allah admits him to Paradise."
[Transmitted by Abu Dawud]

"Whoever takes care of two girls until they reach adulthood - he and I will come (together) on the Day of Resurrection - and he interlaced his fingers (meaning in Paradise)."
(Reported by Muslim)

Why were Women Created

“A Man is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man: for neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man."

(I Corinthians 11:7-10)

"Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives"
(1 Peter 3:1)
"They (wives) are garments for you, while you are garments for them."
[Qur’an 2:187]
O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of male and female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other ( not that you despise each other)
(Quran 49:13)

And Allah has made for you mates (and Companions) of your own nature"
( Quran16:72)

It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love) (Quran 7:189)

Menses

“When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening. anything she lies on during her period will be unclean, and anything she sits on will be unclean. Whoever touches her bed must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean till evening. Whoever touches anything she sits on must wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will be unclean till evening. Whether it is the bed or anything she was sitting on, when anyone touches it, he will be unclean till evening.”
(Leviticus 15:19-23)
"They will ask you about menstruation. Say, 'It is harmful, so keep away from women during it. Do not approach them until they are purified of it, when they are purified you may approach them as Allah has ordained."
(Qur'an 2:222)

Ali asked the Prophet Mohammed if when a man and a woman make love then their clothes stick to them from the sweat of their bodies, or if when a woman has her period her clothes stick to her body, are the clothes considered unclean? The Prophet replied: “No, the uncleanness is only in the semen and the blood.”
Prophet Mohammed
