Dark Energy and Gravity in Quran

After the Big Bang the Universe was filled with smoke and gravity was trying to pull it around itself where as the dark energy was putting effort to expand the universe. Thus the dark energy was and is repulsive to gravity.

Also read : Smoke After Big Bang In Quran

This is also quoted by a leading website in astronomy which is Universetoday.com

The following site states

"The only repulsive force that arises in similar cosmological discussions is one due to dark energy - or the cosmological constant, to be more specific. Dark energy is something very different than dark matter. This force makes the expansion of the Universe accelerate and it is due to the negative pressure of dark energy which may be argued to cause this "repulsive gravity". However, dark energy is not composed of any particles. It's just a number uniformly attached to every volume of space.

According to this study, matter and antimatter gravitationally repel each other and create a kind of “antigravity” that could do away with the need for dark energy in the universe.

Bondi pointed out that a negative mass will fall toward (and not away from) "normal" matter, since although the gravitational force is repulsive, the negative mass (according to Newton's law, F=ma) responds by accelerating in the opposite of the direction of the force."

Copied from ANTIGRAVITY COULD REPLACE DARK ENERGY AS CAUSE OF UNIVERSE’S EXPANSION

Thus the gravity and dark energy were opposing each other until Allah ordered them to from planets and galaxies, this is mentioned in Quran in following verse

"He placed firmly embedded mountains on it, towering over it, and blessed it and measured out its nourishment in it, laid out for those who seek it-all in four days. Then He turned to heaven when it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come willingly or unwillingly." They BOTH said, "We come willingly." (Qur'an, 41:10-11)

Here Quran clearly states that after the event of great explosion and during the formation of Universe everything was nothing but smoke, Further it also talk about two energy (Earth's Gravitational Force) referring to general gravity  and Heaven i.e. universe (Dark energy) to come willingly to form the Earth our planet.

Back 1400 years ago the Dark energy and Gravity was not discovered and everything above earth i.e. Universe was referred as Space. Thus Quran used Heaven and Earth to detonate these two forces.

Smoke After Big Bang In Quran

After the Big bang Big Bang and Expanding Universe In Quran there was only hot smoke and the universe was cooling down, until the matters formed. Speaking of the origin and nature of this universe, everybody knows that it was nothing but a mass of smoke and gaseous at the beginning. This certainly is mentioned in Quran

Here Quran clearly states that after the event of great explosion and during the formation of Universe everything was nothing but smoke, Further it also talk about two energy (Earth's Gravitational Force) and Heaven (Dark energy) to come willingly to form the Earth our planet. This was also noted in Tafsir by Ibn Khatir

Read : Dark Energy and Gravity in Quran

Quote from Ibn Khaitr Tafsir

"(and said to it and to the earth: "Come both of you willingly or unwillingly.'') meaning, `respond to My command and be subjected to this action, willingly or unwillingly.'
(They both said: "We come willingly.'') meaning, `we will respond to You willingly and everything that You want to create in us -- angels, Jinn and men -- will all be obedient to You."

So how could an illiterate man 1400 years ago came to know of Universe being just a hot smoke.?

"Nay, but they, the clear Ayat [i.e the description and the qualities of Prophet Muhammad SAW written like verses in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] are preserved in the breasts of those who have been given knowledge (from the people of the Scriptures). And none but the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) deny Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)." [Quran 29:49]

The Expanding Universe In Quran

The American astronomer Edwin Hubble made the observations in 1925 and was the first to prove that the universe is expanding. He proved that there is a direct relationship between the speeds of distant galaxies and their distances from Earth. This is now known as Hubble's Law. There was no such information that existed before his discovery. He suggested that space is expanding from the Big Bang and the acceleration of dark energy. But the objects embedded in space, like planets, stars, and galaxies stay exactly the same size. As space expands, it carries galaxies away from each other.

The galaxies outside of our own are moving away from us, and the ones that are farthest away are moving the fastest. This means that no matter what galaxy you happen to be in, all the other galaxies are moving away from you. However, the galaxies are not moving through space, they are moving in space, because space is also moving. In other words, the universe has no center; everything is moving away from everything else.

The expanding of Space is mentioned in Quran in the following verse
With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. [Quran 51:47]

Quran 1400 years ago mentions the expanding of Universe, it states the space comes into being with power and since then it is constantly expanded. This is another proof that Quran is a book from Allah and narrates many signs regarding Him.

"Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding." [Quran 3:190]

Short Tafsir of Surah Kafiroon

Surah Kafirron (Disbelievers)
Say, "O disbelievers,
I do not worship what you worship.
Nor are you worshippers of what I worship.
Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship.
Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship.
For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."

History of revelation of these verses
Ibn Khatir quotes in his tafsir It has been said that in their ignorance the Quraish invited the Messenger of Allah to worship their idols for a year and they would (in turn) worship his God for a year. Therefore, Allah revealed this Surah and in it
Said bin Mina (the freed slave of Abul Bakhtari) has related that Walid bin Mughirah, As bin Wail, Aswad bin al-Muttalib and Umayyah bin Khalaf met the Holy Prophet (upon whom be peace) and said to him: "O Muhammad (upon whom be Allah's peace and blessings), let us agree that we would worship your God and you would worship our gods, and we would make you a partner in all our works. If what you have brought was better than what we possess, we would be partners in it with you, and have our share in it, and if what we possess is better than what you have brought, you would be partner in it with us and have your share of it."At this Allah sent down: Qul ya-ayyuhal-kafirun such was mentioned by Ibn Jarir, Ibn Abi Hatim, Ibn Hisham in their Sirah.

“Say: "Oh, you who disbelieve!"I do not worship that which you worship,”Say O you who disbelieve is referring to all the disbelievers around the world although it was directed to the Quraysh of Mecca. The next ayat “I do not worship that which you worship” this statement is referred to Prophet PBUH served as an answer to the statement of Quraysh when they invited the Messenger of Allah to worship their idols for a year and they would (in turn) worship his God for a year.
They follow nothing but their own opinions and the (vain) desires of themselves, and Guidance has already come to them from their Lord." [Al-Qur'an 53:23]

“Nor are you worshippers of what I worship. Nor will I be a worshipper of what you worship. Nor will you be worshippers of what I worship.”
These ayahs are continuation of the previous ayah refuting the request of Quraysh they made to Prophet in their arrogance. It also forbids them and other disbelievers to take Islam for granted and to practice it for a so and so time. In wider detail these ayahs also forbids Muslims to please the disbelievers by celebrating their events or taking part in their religious occasion in order to make them feel happy and loved or with the intention to convert them to Islam as a person cannot do this but it is Allah who changes the heart, we only convey the message.

“For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.”
The polytheists worship deities besides Allah in a way not permitted by Allah and so He told the Prophet PBUH to say to them: "To you your religion and to me mine", as in His Words:
"And if they reject you, then say: 'To me my deeds and to you your deeds and you are innocent of my accounts and I am innocent of yours,' " [Al-Qur'an10:41] and, "For us our deeds and for you your deeds." [Al-Qur'an 28:55]
According to Al-Bukhari your religion means kufr (disbelief) and my religion means Islam. Abu 'Abdillah ash-Shafi'i says that the verse shows that the disbelievers are one people because disbelief in all its many manifestations has one thing in common that is, falsity.

Virtues of this Surah :
Surah Kafiroon equals a fourth of the Qur'an It has been reported by Tirmidhi with weak chain of transmitters that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites Idha Zulzilat, it equals half of the Qur'an for him. Whoever recites: Qul Ya Ayyuhal-Kafirun it equals a fourth of the Qur'an for him. And whoever recites: Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad it equals a third of the Qur'an for him."
[Book 45, Hadith 3138 reported on authority Narrated Anas bin Malik and similar was reported on authority Ibn 'Abbas]

Prophet PBUH use to recite this Surah in Fajr
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited: "Say: O you disbelievers" and "Say: He is Allah, (the) One" in the two rak'ahs of Fajr.
[Sunan Nasai Book 11, Hadith 70]

Prophet PBUH recited this Surah in Tawaf, Maghrib and Witr prayer
Jabir bin Abdullah narrated: During the two Rak'ah of Tawaf, the Messenger of Allah recited the two Surat of Ikhlas, "Say: O you disbelievers!" and: "Say: He is Allah, (the) One."
[Jami Tirmidhi Book 9, Hadith 62]

It was narrated that Ibn Umar said:
"I watched the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)- twenty times- reciting in the two rak'ahs after maghrib 'Say: O you disbelievers' and 'Say: He is Allah, (the) One.'"
[Sunan Nasai Book 11, Hadith 117]

Khalid said: "Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: Salamah and Zubaid informed me, from Dharr, from Ibn 'Abdur-Rahman bn Abza from Abdur-Rahman, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite in Witr: "Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;" and "Say: O you disbelievers!;' and 'Say: He is Allah, (the) One.' And when he said the taslim, he would say: Subhanal-Malikil-Quddus (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy) three times, raising his voice with Subhanal-Malikil-Quddus the third time."
[Sunan Nasai Book 20, Hadith 136]

A Short Tafsir Of Surah Ikhlas

Say, "He is Allah , [who is] One,
Allah , the Eternal Refuge.
He neither begets nor is born,
Nor is there to Him any equivalent."

Revelation of this Surah
Imam Ahmad recorded from Ubayy bin Ka`b that the idolators said to the Prophet , "O Muhammad! Tell us the lineage of your Lord.'' So Allah revealed
[Tafsir Ibn Khatir]

Similar was recorded in Tirmidhi with a weak chain of transmitters.
Abu Al-Aliyah narrated "The Prophet mentioned their (the idolater's) gods, so they said: 'Then name your Lord's lineage for us.'" He said: "So Jibril, peace be upon him, came to him with this Surat: Say: "he is Allah, the One [Book 47, Hadith 3691]

“Say: "He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah the Eternal Refuge (Samad).”

Allah is One and alone, there is no one equal to Him in any aspects. He has the power over all the dominions of the worlds and Heavens.  Word “Ahad” is derived from “Wahid”  As Samad is One Who does not give birth, nor was He born, because there is nothing that is born except that it will die, and there is nothing that dies except that it leaves behind inheritance, and indeed Allah does not die and He does not leave behind any inheritance. As  Samad covers many aspects other than Eternal refuge it also means Self sufficient, the need of all creations, meaning the One Who all of the creation depends upon for their needs and their requests. He alone is the Sustainer: no one else has any share or part in providence and since He alone can be the Deity Who is Master and Sustainer, therefore, no one else is His associate in Divinity either.

“He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent."

“He begets not nor is He born”. This is an answer to idolaters who asked about the kunya (lineage) of Allah. Having a son implies you will have an equal, a heir and that is not possible for Allah as Allah is As Samad, free from all needs meaning He does not have any child, parent or spouse

Allah says: [He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion [sahibah] and He created all things? And He is,
of all things, Knowing. [al An'am 6:101].
And Allah says in Quran, “And they say: Ar-Rahman has begotten a son. Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, that they ascribe a son to Ar-Rahman. But it is not suitable for Ar-Rahman that He should beget a son. There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto Ar-Rahman as a slave. Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. And all of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection.)” [19:88-95].
This is Shirk (associating partners with Allah) because a person may do whatever he wants of disobedience to Allah, but then he wants to hide behind someone close to Allah to protect him from Allah’s anger. This person will even try to please and over praise that intercessor, so that the intercessor will intercede in favor of his case in the court of Allah. Little do these people know that Allah will forgive who He wills on that Day, and this is the sin that Allah does not forgive (of shirk).

There is no equal yo Him. This means that there is none similar to Him, none equal to Him and there is nothing at all like Him, there is no partner or anyone to His level. Allah says in Quran in Surat Al Anbiya verse 22
“If there were in both of them (i.e., the heaven and the earth) gods expcept Allah, indeed they would (both) suffer corruption (disorder, confusion). All Extolment (Glory) be to Allah, The Lord of the Throne, above whatever they describe.”

Prophet PBUH used to recite Surah Kafirun and Surah Ikhlas in two rakah before Fajr and in two rakah after Maghrib

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that in the two Rak’ah before the Fajr, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite: “Say: ‘O you disbelievers!” [Al-Kafirun (109)] and “Say: Allah is One.” [Al-Ikhlas (112)]
[Sunan Ibn Majah : Vol. 1, Book 5, Hadith 1148]

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud that for the two Rak’ah after Maghrib, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite: “Say: O you disbelievers!” [Al-Kafirun (109)] and “Say: He is Allah the One.” [Al- Ikhlas (112)]
[Sunan Ibn Majah Vol. 1, Book 5, Hadith 1166 also recorded by nasai]

Surah Ikhlas is one third of Quran
The Prophet (ﷺ) said to his companions, "Is it difficult for any of you to recite one third of the Qur'an in one night?" This suggestion was difficult for them so they said, "Who among us has the power to do so, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" Allah Apostle replied: "Allah (the) One, the Self-Sufficient Master Whom all creatures need.' (Surat Al-Ikhlas 112.1--to the End) is equal to one third of the Qur'an."
[Sahih al-Bukhari Book 66, Hadith 37]
It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
Get together. for I am going to recite one-third of the Qur'an before you. And those who could get together gathered there. Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out and recited:" Say: He, Allah, is One." He then entered (his house). Some of us said to the others: Perhaps there has been some news from the heaven on account of which he has gone Inside (the house). The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) again came out and said: I told you that I was going to recite one-third of the Qur'in; keep in mind, this (Surah Ikhlas) is equivalent to one-third of the Qur'an.
[Sahih Muslim Book 6, Hadith 316]

Surah Ikhlas as remedy
Narrated `Aisha: Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) went to bed, he used to recite Surat-al-Ikhlas, Surat-al-Falaq and Surat-an- Nas and then blow on his palms and pass them over his face and those parts of his body that his hands could reach. And when he fell ill, he used to order me to do like that for him.
[Sahih Bukhari Book 76, Hadith 63]

He who loves Ikhlas, Allah loves him too
'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported:
Messenger of Allah, (
ﷺ) appointed a man in charge of an army unit who led them in Salat (prayer); he always concluded his recitation with Surat Al-Ikhlas: "Say (O Muhammad (ﷺ)): 'He is Allah, (the) One. Allah-us-Samad (Allah - the Self-Sufficient). He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none equal or comparable to Him."' (112:1-4) Upon their return to Al-Madinah, they mentioned this to Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), who said, "Ask him why he does so?" He was asked and he said, "This Surah contains the Attributes of Allah, the Gracious, and I love to recite it. Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then told them, "Tell him that Allah loves him".
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim recorded in Riyad As Salihin Book 1, Hadith 388]

Love of Surah Ikhlas
Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man said: "O Messenger of Allah! I love Surat-Al-Ikhlas [Say: He is Allah, (the) One]." He (ﷺ) said, "Your love for it will admit you to Jannah."
[Recorded by At-Tirmidhi quoted in Riyadh As Salihin Book 9, Hadith 1013].

Narrated Abu Hurairah: "I went out with the Messenger of Allah and heard a man reciting Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad [Allahus-Samad] so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'It is obligatory.' I said: 'What is obligatory?' He said: 'Paradise.'" [Tirmidhi Book 45, Hadith 3142]

How Close Is Allah

How Close Is Allah

"And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein" [Quran 50:16]

Verily,  Allah is very near. He sees and knows every aspect of a human being, and hears every word he utters. He is knowledgeable of even one's inner thoughts.
Allah says in Quran

"And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden." [Quran 20:7]

Nothing is hidden from Allah, nobody is closer to us then He since He even knows what we don't speak and what we have in our hearts
"Have you not considered that Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth? There is in no private conversation three but that He is the fourth of them, nor are there five but that He is the sixth of them - and no less than that and no more except that He is with them [in knowledge] wherever they are. Then He will inform them of what they did, on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed Allah is, of all things, Knowing." [Quran 58:7]

Allah is closer to us then jugular veins. If the veins or arteries are cut, they lose their soul and die. In short, Allah encompasses complete and full knowledge about everything of man, because He is 'closer to him than his neck-vein.

The point is that how much do we try to get closer to Him?

On the authority of Abu Harayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Prophet (PBUH) said: Allah the Almighty said: I am as My servant thinks I am (1). I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assemble better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.

(1) Another possible rendering of the Arabic is: "I am as My servant expects Me to be". The meaning is that forgiveness and acceptance of repentance by the Almighty is subject to His servant truly believing that He is forgiving and merciful. However, not to accompany such belief with right action would be to mock the Almighty.
It was related by al-Buhkari also by Muslim, at-Tirmidhi and Ibn-Majah

In another Hadith Qudsi it is stated
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said:
Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him.
It was related by al-Bukhari.

Many Non Muslims are asking this question to which the answer can be found in Quran

So when you meet those who disbelieve [in battle], strike [their] necks until, when you have inflicted slaughter upon them, then secure their bonds, and either [confer] favor afterwards or ransom [them] until the war lays down its burdens. That [is the command]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds."
[Quran 47:4]

And as Prophet predicted
Narrated Humaid: I heard Muawiya bin Abi Sufyan delivering a sermon. He said, "I heard the Prophet saying, "If Allah wants to do a favor to somebody, He bestows on him, the gift of understanding the Quran and Sunna. I am but a distributor, and Allah is the Giver. The state of this nation will remain good till the Hour is established, or till Allah's Order comes."
[Bukhari Volume 9, Book 92, Number 415]

This will be because people will fear death and love the world
Narrated Thawban: The Prophet said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). Messenger of Allah: He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death.

Thanking Allah

Thanking Allah

Bismillah Hir Rehman Ir Raheem
Start In the Name Of Allah The Most Beneficent The Most Merciful

Like us on Facebook:

"And (remember) when your Lord proclaimed: "If you give thanks (by accepting Faith and worshiping none but Allah), I will give you more (of My Blessings), but if you are thankless (i.e. disbelievers), verily! My Punishment is indeed severe." [Quran 14:7]

Probably the best way to thank Allah is to be aware of His presence and His power at all times and in all places and to keep in mind all the favors He has granted to us whether these favors are seen or unseen.

A good way to make Allah’s favors dearer to us is look at those who are lacking them. When we see the patient in the sickbed, we realize Allah’s favor in giving us good health. We should exploit our good health in obeying Allah by pushing ourselves to perform prayers, fasts, Hajj, and good deeds like enjoining on others what is right and forbidding what is wrong.

When we witness the difficulties suffered by those who are blind and the deaf, we come to know how blessed we are by having full use of our senses. All of these favors encourage us to thank Allah and use the blessings that He has given us in obedience to Him and not in disobedience.

Allah reveals this in a verse in the Qur’an:
If you tried to number Allah’s blessings, you could never count them. Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surat an-Nahl, 18)

Allah loves it when believers say thanks to Him
"Therefore remember Me, I will remember you. Give thanks to Me, and reject not Me." [Quran 2:152]
He [Allah] said, ‘Moses, I have chosen you over all mankind for My Message and My Word. Take what I have given you and be among the thankful.’ [Surat al-A’raf, 144]

If a believer thanks Allah and remain content on what He has provided for him, He will surely increase His Mercy, Provision and Blessings on him. In the Qur’an Allah also reveals, in these words of satan’s, that one of his main aims is to prevent people giving thanks:

"Then I will come at them, from in front of them and behind them, from their right and from their left. You will not find most of them thankful." [Surat al-A’raf, 17]

Satan wishes to prevent people from giving thanks because the importance of giving thanks is set out in a great many verses. Of course, one of his principal objectives will be to cause people to ignore such an important truth.

People directed by Satan are in any case not inclined to give thanks. Most of these people only remember such a basic religious obligation as giving thanks for a very short after having been troubled by an affliction or unwelcome situation of some kind, after which they return to their lives of idolatry. In the Qur’an, Allah reveals the situation of people who pray when struck by affliction but then return to ascribing equals to Him when their troubles are eased as an example of this:

Say: ‘Who rescues you from the darkness of the land and sea? You call on Him humbly and secretly: “If you rescue us from this, we will truly be among the thankful.”’
Say: ‘Allah rescues you from it, and from every plight. Then you associate others with Him.’
[Surat al-An’am, 63-64]

Prophet Muhammad PBUH use to prostrate to thanks Allah
"When anything came to the Prophet which caused pleasure (or, by which he was made glad), he prostrated himself in gratitude to Allah."
[Sunan Abu Dawud Book 14, Hadith 2768]

It was narrated from Mu’aadh ibn Jabal that the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) took his hand and said: “O Mu’aadh, by Allah I love you, by Allah I love you.” Then he said, “I advise you, O Mu’aadh, do not fail following every prayer to say: O Allah help me to remember You, thank You and worship You properly.”
Narrated by Abu Dawood and al-Nasaa’i.

How can a person thank his Lord for His great blessings?
His gratitude should fulfill all the necessary conditions, which are gratitude of the heart, gratitude of the tongue and gratitude of the physical faculties.
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Gratitude may be in the heart, in submission and humility; on the tongue, in praise and acknowledgement; and in the physical faculties, by means of obedience and submission.

1- Gratitude of the heart: what is meant is that the heart senses the value of the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon His slave, and fully acknowledges that the one who has bestowed these great blessings is Allah alone, with no partner or associate. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“And whatever of blessings and good things you have, it is from Allah”[16:53].
2- As for gratitude of the tongue, it means acknowledging verbally - after believing in the heart- that the One Who grants blessing is indeed Allah, and keeping the tongue busy with praise of Allah, may He be glorified and exalted.

3- Gratitude of the physical faculties means using one's physical faculties in obedience of Allah and keeping them from committing sins and acts of disobedience that Allah has forbidden.
Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
"Work you, O family of Dawood (David), with thanks!" [34:13]
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: When the Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) prayed, he would stand for so long that his feet became swollen. ‘Aishah said: O Messenger of Allah, are you doing this when Allah has forgiven your past and future sins? He said: “O ‘Aishah, should I not be a thankful slave?”
Narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

The Hard Times On Muslim Ummah

And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others. And those who are killed in the cause of Allah - never will He waste their deeds. Quran 47:4

Condition of Ummah will worsen
Narrated Humaid: I heard Muawiya bin Abi Sufyan delivering a sermon. He said, "I heard the Prophet saying, "If Allah wants to do a favor to somebody, He bestows on him, the gift of understanding the Quran and Sunna. I am but a distributor, and Allah is the Giver. The state of this nation will remain good till the Hour is established, or till Allah's Order comes."
[Bukhari Volume 9, Book 92, Number 415]

Various indications has been made By Prophet Muhamamd PBUH about the advent of hard time on his people.

This can be categorized into
1- Killings among Muslims
2- Enemies of Islam uniting against Muslims
3- Because of Love of World

1- The Killings Among Muslims

Thauban reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Allah drew the ends of the world near one another for my sake. And I have seen its eastern and western ends. And the dominion of my Ummah would reach those ends which have been drawn near me and I have been granted the red and the white treasure and I begged my Lord for my Ummah that it should not be destroyed because of famine, nor be dominated by an enemy who is not amongst them to take their lives and destroy them root and branch, and my Lord said: Muhammad, whenever I make a decision, there is none to change it. Well, I grant you for your Ummah that it would not be destroyed by famine and it would not be dominated by an enemy who would not be amongst it and would take their lives and destroy them root and branch even if all the people from the different parts of the world join hands together (for this purpose), but it would be from amongst them, viz. your Ummah, that some people would kill the others or imprison the others.
[Muslim Book 041, Number 6904]

'Amir b. Sa'd reported on the authority of his father that one day Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) came from a high, land. He passed by the mosque of Banu Mu'awiya, went in and observed two rak'ahs there and we also observed prayer along with him and he made a long supplication to his Lord. He then came to us and said: I asked my Lord three things and He has granted me two but has withheld one. I begged my Lord that my Ummah should not be destroyed because of famine and He granted me this. And I begged my Lord that my Ummah should not be destroyed by drowning (by deluge) and He granted me this. And I begged my Lord that there should be no bloodshed among the people of my Ummah but He did not grant it.
[Muslim Book 041, Number 6906]

This Hadith explains that prior to the Last Hour the Muslims will get involve in killing each other either encouraged by third party or for their own benefits. When Holy Prophet PBUH supplicated to Allah he asked three things from Allah among which two Allah accepted but one He denied. For years Muslims have fought each other for power, money and to save their own interest even by harming his fellow Muslims. This Hadith is a reminder to the Ummah that as the Hour approach near the Ummah will involve in bloodshed. Many battles have been fought between Muslims such as Battle of Camel, Karbala, Siffin, etc all resulting in death of thousands of Muslims worsening the state of Ummah

2- Enemies of Islam uniting against Muslims and Al Wahn
Narrated Thawban: The Prophet said: The people will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish. Someone asked: Will that be because of our small numbers at that time? He replied: No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be scum and rubbish like that carried down by a torrent, and Allah will take fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and last enervation into your hearts. Someone asked: What is wahn (enervation). Messenger of Allah: He replied: Love of the world and dislike of death.
[Sunan Abu Dawud Book 38, Hadith 4284]

The Hadith predicts about a time where the enemies of Islam will join hands and will call each other to attack Muslims as people invite each other to share a dish. This will not occur because of extinct population of Muslims but the increase of love of the world and dislike of death where as the Muslims will be In great numbers that time but Allah will take fear of Muslims out of the breasts of our enemies.

"When is the victory and the support of Allah?.." (Al-Baqarah 2:214)

Difficulties help attach the believers to Allah in a comprehensive way.
This statement was made by a group of believers and their messenger when they were touched by difficulty and they were shaken on their path to Allah. Allah said to His Messenger, to the believers, and to all humanity that the path to Allah is full of these tough times:

" Or do you think that you would enter the garden while yet the state of those who have passed away before you has not come upon you; distress and affliction befell them and they were shaken violently, so that the Messenger and those who believed with him said: When will the help of Allah come? Now surely the help of Allah is near" (Al-Baqarah 2:214)

"Indeed with the difficulty there is an ease. Indeed with the difficulty there is an ease."
(Al-Inshirah 5-6)

Glue To The Broken Heart

"But as for him who feared the standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires and lusts. Verily, Paradise will be his abode." [Al-Qur'an 79:40]

Crash.
Bang.
Smash.
‘What was that?!’
That was the sound of a once sound heart, shattering into a million pieces. Imagine you are the person carrying that heart: covered in pain and soaked in tears. Maybe you don’t have to imagine, because maybe that is your heart.

Betrayal, oppression, deception, whatever it may be that happened to us—the result is the same, a broken heart at the hand of a human. A broken heart that feels like it can never be fixed, and it was entirely someone else’s fault. It would be enough if they had just hurt us, and all we had to do is deal with the pain that came from their actions, but no.
A broken heart, comes brining us ready for more challenge for more patience and importantly, how to move on and how should we focus on something that is more important.!

A person with broken, turns to Allah. He seeks repentance and ask for forgiveness.
Of the many fruitful parts of the story of Prophet Yusuf (as), is that of his being wronged by the wife of his master. She attempted to seduce our beloved Prophet Yusuf (as). Not only did she attempt to seduce him, but she landed him in jail by blaming him of the unthinkable instead of taking the blame! Imagine! This is a woman whom, as the wife of his master, he was supposed to be able to trust. This was a woman whom he served during the day. Yet when her desires took over, she wronged him many times over!
Despite all of this, Prophet Yusuf (as) did not act wrongfully, nor did he hold a grudge. Why? Prophet Yusuf (as) knew the reality of forgiveness. When all was exposed and the truth revealed, Yusuf (as) made a revolutionary statement. He said: “I do not free myself from all blame. Truly, the nafs (base self) is inclined to evil, except for those who my Lord grants His Mercy. Truly, my Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”

Allahu Akbar! (God is Greater!) A huge, humbling, life-changing lesson we can take from his statement is: You are not the oppressor in this situation only because Allah (swt) has blessed you with His Mercy. Every soul has the ability to wrong others, every soul has the ability to be the oppressor, and only Allah’s mercy prevents that. The next time we begin to feel this immense and absolute anger towards the person who has harmed us—let’s make that shift, and forgive. Forgive the one who has wronged us not because that person deserves it; rather, forgive them as a sign of gratitude to Allah (swt).

Those who broke your heart forgive them. Forgive as a statement that says, ‘Oh Allah I’m not forgiving them for their own sake, rather I am forgiving them as a sign of gratitude to You for steering me clear of those desires. I’m forgiving them out of my love for You. I’m forgiving them because I know You love it when a slave of Yours is merciful to others and I want to be of the ones that You love. My desires tell me to wish evil for them and to hold this grudge, but I put You over my own desire and I forgive them.’

"The slave is not afflicted with a punishment greater in severity then the hardening of the heart and being distant from Allah. For the Fire was created to melt the hardened heart. The most distant heart from Allah is the heart which is hardened. If the heart becomes hardened, the eye becomes dry.

If four matters are exceeded in quantity, beyond what is necessary, the heart shall become hardened:
Food, sleep, speech and sexual intercourse. A body afflicted by disease does not derive nourishment from food or water, similarly a heart diseased by desire does not benefit from admonishment and exhortation.
Whosoever desires to purify his heart, then let him prefer Allah to his desires.

If the heart is nourished with remembrance, its thirst quenched with contemplation and cleansed from corruption, it shall witness remarkable and wondrous matters, inspiring wisdom.
No wonder, time heals everything.

Prophet PBUH faced many things that broke her heart, death of his first wife Hazrat Khadijah and uncle Abu Talib the same year. His parents passed away at an early age, did you experienced such pain? But still Prophet PBUH stayed firm and was patient.!

"O mankind! there hath come to you a direction from your Lord and a healing for the (diseases) in your hearts,- and for those who believe, a guidance and a Mercy." [Quran 10:57]

Forgiveness Of Allah

Forgiveness Of Allah

Forgiveness Of Allah

"Then Adam received from his Lord Words . And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful." [2:37]

"Allah does not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He imposes blame upon you for what your hearts have earned. And Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing." [2:225]

When Shaitan said to misguide the servant of Allah, Allah said
Allah's Messenger (saws) said that the Shaitaan said, "By Thy Might, my Lord, I shall continue to lead Thy servants astray as long as their spirits are in their bodies!"  The Lord, Who is Great and Glorious, replied, "By My Might, Glory and Exalted Station, I shall continue to pardon them as long as they ask My forgiveness!" [Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2339 Narrated by Abu Sa'id]

Verily, Allah is Most Merciful, we never know on which good deed or intention He may forgive our all sins . There are many events related by Prophet Muhammad PBUH in Ahadiths Qudsi telling the forgiveness and Mercy of Allah

Prophet PBUH said that Allah said:
A man sinned greatly against himself, and when death came to him he charged his sons, saying: When I have died, burn me, then crush me and scatter [my ashes] into the sea, for, by Allah, if my Lord takes possession of me, He will punish me in a manner in which He has punished no one [else]. So they did that to him. Then He said to the earth: Produce what you have taken-and there he was! And He said to him: What induced you to do what you did? He said: Being afraid of You, O my Lord (or he said: Being frightened of You) and because of that He forgave him.
It was related by Muslim (also by al-Bukhari, an-Nasa'i and Ibn Majah).

Allah is Merciful and He loves Forgiveness
Allah the Almighty said:
O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it.
It was related by at-Tirmidhi (also by Ahmad ibn Hanbal). Its chain of authorities is sound.

Similarly, Allah hates , if somebody thinks that Allah will not forgive his/her or somebody else sins.
On the authority of Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) related:
A man said: By Allah, Allah will not forgive So-and-so. At this Allah the Almighty said: Who is he who swears by Me that I will not forgive So-and-so? Verily I have forgiven So-and-so and have nullified your [own good] deeds (1) (or as he said [it])
(1) A similar Hadith, which is given by Abu Dawud, indicates that the person referred to was a goldly man whose previous good deeds were brought to nought through presuming to declare that Allah would not forgive someone's bad deeds.
It was related by Muslim.

And who is more Merciful then Allah?
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (PBUH), from among the things he reports from his Lord (mighty and sublime be He), is that he said:

A servant [of Allah's] committed a sin and said: O Allah, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them. Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them. Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for sins. Do what you wish, for I have forgiven you.
It was related by Muslim (also by al-Bukhari).

Allah, The Most Merciful calls upon His creations to ask forgiveness so that He may forgive them
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
Our Lord (glorified and exalted be He) descends each night to the earth's sky when there remains the final third of the night, and He says: Who is saying a prayer to Me that I may answer it? Who is asking something of Me that I may give it him? Who is asking forgiveness of Me that I may forgive him?
It was related by al-Bukhari (also by Muslim, Malik, at-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud).
In a version by Muslim the Hadith ends with the words:
And thus He continues till [the light of] dawn shines.

Everybody, who does not associate any partner with Allah will be forgiven by Him
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said:
The gates of Paradise will be opened on Mondays and on Thursdays, and every servant [of Allah] who associates nothing with Allah will be forgiven, except for the man who has a grudge against his brother. [About them] it will be said: Delay these two until they are reconciled; delay these two until they are reconciled.
It was related by Muslim (also by Malik and Abu Dawud).

Allah commands us to forgive each other and be kind
"Kind speech and forgiveness are better than charity followed by injury. And Allah is Free of need and Forbearing." 2:263

Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah , then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." 3:31

One never know which good deed of his/her will lead him to Jannah.
Allah's Messenger said, "A man used to give loans to the people and used to say to his servant, 'If the debtor is poor, forgive him, so that Allah may forgive us.' So when he met Allah (after his death), Allah forgave him."

Crying In front And Out Of Fear Of Allah

Crying In front And Out Of Fear Of Allah

"And they fall upon their faces weeping, and the Qur'an increases them in humble submission." [17:109]

Weeping is a mercy which Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala puts in the hearts of all of us.

A person weeps because of some reason. At times one cries because of feelings of mercy and kindness; at times because of fear; sometimes because of fondness and often because of love; sometimes due to intense happiness; sometimes due to pain or sorrow; at times due to the oppression of someone. Besides these there is the weeping of taubah (repentance) which is an outcome of some sin(s) committed; another type of crying is due to nifaaq (hypocrisy), which is done for show, where one cries in salaah (prayer) so that others may feel that the person is crying due to piety, humbleness etc.; also one other type of crying is for a request, for instance where one cries for a dead person without taking any remuneration; and another type is to cry for a remuneration where for example one is paid to cry at the house of a dead person as is the custom in some areas; one more type of crying is the weeping of acceptance where one sees another crying and after seeing this he also begins to cry in camaradrie, etc. Verily the best of weeping is out of fear of Allah SWT.
The Messenger of Allah use to shed tears listening the words of Allah

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet said to me: "Recite the Qur'an to me". I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Shall I recite the Qur'an to you, when it has been revealed to you?" He replied, "I love to hear it recited by others". So I recited to him a portion from Surat An-Nisa'. When I reached the Ayah: "How (will it be) then, when We bring from each nation a witness and We bring you (O Muhammad as a witness against these people?". (4:41)
He said, "Enough for now". When I looked at him I saw his eyes were shedding tears.
[Al- Bukhari and Muslim Riyad As Salihin Book 1, Hadith 446, Tirmidhi Vol. 1, Book 44, Hadith 3024 Graded as Sahih]

Allah will bless him, he who cried out of fear of Allah by providing him His shade at Judgement Day, when there will be no other shade
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said Allah will give shade to seven (types of people) under His Shade (on the Day of Resurrection). (one of them will be) a person who remembers Allah and his eyes are then flooded with tears. [Sahih al-Bukhari 6479 In-book reference : Book 81, Hadith 68]

Even the companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW used to weep out of fear of Allah, when Quran was recited.Narrated Hamza bin `Abdullah:
My father said, "When Allah's Messenger became seriously ill, he was told about the prayer. He said, 'Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in the prayer.' `Aisha said, 'Abu Bakr is a softhearted man and he would be overpowered by his weeping if he recited the Qur'an.' He said to them, 'Tell him (Abu Bakr) to lead the prayer. The same reply was given to him. He said again, 'Tell him to lead the prayer. You (women) are the companions of Joseph."
[ Sahih al-Bukhari Book 10, Hadith 76]

The Messenger of Allah said
Abu Umamah Sudaiy bin 'Ajlan Al-Bahili (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet said: "Nothing is dearer to Allah than two drops and two marks: A drop of tears shed out of fear of Allah and a drop of blood shed in Allah's way. Regarding the two marks, they are: Marks left in the Cause of Allah and a mark left in observing one of the obligatory act of worship of Allah, the Exalted".
[Riyah As Salihin, Book of Misceallny from At-Tirmidhi Book 1, Hadith 455]

The Prophets and their companions cried before Allah. Pious predecessors, likewise, used to weep so profusely, especially in their night prayers, that the hot tears would leave marks on their faces and wet their generous beards.

Abdullah Bin Al-Shikhkhir (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I came to Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when he was performing prayers. He was sobbing and his chest sounded like a boiling kettle.” (Abu Dawood and Al-Tirmidhi)

The reward for weeping alone is immense

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah said: "A man who weeps for fear of Allah will not enter Hell until the milk goes back into the udder, and dust produced (when fighting) for the sake of Allah and the smoke of Hell will never coexist." Narrated by al-Tirmidhi and al-Nasaa'i.
"Until the milk goes back into the udder" is a metaphor for it being impossible, as in the verse where Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): "and they will not enter Paradise until the camel goes through the eye of the needle" [7:40]
The fear of Allah (SWT) brings many benefits which include:
  • It is something which we have been ordered to do
  • It is a conditions to achieve Eeman
  • It is something that our prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) did
  • It is from the characteristics of the righteous and knowledgeable
  • It helps someone achieve stability and comfort on Earth
  • It pushes someone to do good
  • It is one of the reasons of forgiveness from Allah (SWT)
  • It leads a person to enter paradise
  • It helps someone achieve tranquillity and safety on the day of judgement
  • It is a reason to be rescued from every evil
  • It makes someone to be from the ones which Allah (SWT) has spoken well of in the Qur’an.
To achieve this great attribute of fearing Allah (SWT), we can do the following:
  • Remembering the previous sins we have fallen in
  • Being wary of not fulfilling the obligations
  • Thinking of what will happen on the day of judgement
  • Pondering upon Allah’s (SWT) greatness and ability
  • Looking at how Allah (SWT) speaks about the successful ones and their attributes
  • Pondering upon Allah’s (SWT) words and those of His messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم)
  • Pondering upon death and about its inevitability
  • Pondering upon what comes after death in our graves
  • Pondering upon what will happen when we are resurrected
  • Remembering what Allah (SWT) said about hellfire
  • Pondering upon how we have forgotten our sins but Allah (SWT) has not and will not forget them
  • Knowing that death can approach us suddenly before we have time to repent
  • Remembering the stories of those who have died before us and have had a bad death.
If we really think about what will happen to us and how much we have transgressed, as well as us not knowing if our righteous deeds were accepted or not, we should always be crying from the fear of Allah.

It was narrated that al-‘Irbad ibn Sariyah (may Allah be pleased with him), who was one of those who used to weep, said: “The Messenger of Allah delivered a deeply moving speech at which our eyes began to overflow and our hearts melted.”
[ Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood and Ibn Maajah.]

The most telling example of a man who few people would think that he might cry  out of fear of Allah is `Umar ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). `Umar was known for being strong, fearless, and uncompromising when it came to matters of faith. Despite that, it was related by `Abdullah ibn `Isa that he had two black streaks on his face as a result of constant weeping. `Umar's awe and fear of Almighty Allah was so intense that he once said, "If someone announces from the heavens that everybody will enter Paradise except for one person, I would fear that I would be that person." Thus, the strong `Umar was fearful of his Lord and His punishment to the point of weeping. Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was also a great example of this. He was simply known for crying out of fear of Almighty Allah. These people were keen on serving fellow human beings during the day and invoke Almighty Allah at night in order to save them as well as all humanity from His Punishment. Let us contemplate the reality of the hereafter and let us invoke Almighty Allah to forgive our sins and soften our hearts. We have more need and urgency to contemplate and weep than `Umar and Abu Bakr ever had. Human beings are in turmoil. Only connecting with Allah wholeheartedly and begging for His mercy and forgiveness can bring us closer to Him and instill a sense of tranquility and softness in our hearts.

May Allah help us and you to do that which our Lord loves and is pleased with him.

Doubting And Being Suspicious In Islam

What are you suspicious about? Are you letting satan sow the seed of fitnah among you?

Being suspicious or in doubt does not bring any benefits but harms you and your loved ones. When you are suspicious don't you spy? Don't you look after one another in secret? Do you think is it ok to spy?

Bukhari Volume 8, Book 73, Number 90:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others' faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you!")

While you find other faults being suspicious, remember Allah might disgrace you
Narrated AbuBarzah al-Aslami: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: O community of people, who believed by their tongue, and belief did not enter their hearts, do not back-bite Muslims, and do not search for their faults, for if anyone searches for their faults, Allah will search for his fault, and if Allah searches for the fault of anyone, He disgraces him in his house. - Sunan of Abu Dawood, Number 2283

Do you want being disgrace? Why are you finding fault in a person? Do you have any right?

Allah says
"O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful." Quran 49:12

Remember don't let Satan sow a seed of doubt, suspicious, etc in your heart even the Prophet was afraid of that

Bukhari Volume 8, Book 73, Number 238:
Narrated Safiya bint Huyai:
The wife of the Prophet that she went to Allah's Apostle while he was in Itikaf (staying in the mosque) during the last ten nights of the month of Ramadan. She spoke to him for an hour (a while) at night and then she got up to return home. The Prophet got up to accompany her, and when they reached the gate of the mosque opposite the dwelling place of Um Salama, the wife of the Prophet, two Ansari men passed by, and greeting Allah's Apostle , they quickly went ahead. Allah's Apostle said to them, "Do not be in a hurry She is Safiya, the daughter of Huyai." They said, "Subhan Allah! O Allah's Apostle (how dare we suspect you)." That was a great thing for both of them. The Prophet then said, "Satan runs in the body of Adam's son (i.e. man) as his blood circulates in it, and I was afraid that he (Satan) might insert an evil thought in your hearts."

If you are in doubt about someone or something why don;t you directly ask him/her about it? Is not that enough you ask him and sort out instead spying on one another and finding faults with one another?
