Rights Of Neighbor In Islam

Rights Of Neighbor In Islam

Like us on facebook:

Islam is the only religion which give information and guidance in every aspect of life. Besides giving rights to parents it also gives abundant right to the Neighbor.
The Quran says in this regard
"Worship Allah and join none with Him in worship, and do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, Al-Masakin (the poor), the neighbor who is near of kin, the neighbor who is a stranger, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (you meet), and those (slaves) whom your right hands possess. Verily, Allah does not like such as are proud and boastful" [4:36]

A believer should pay his all rights to his neighbor whether he is a Muslim or not. The Prophet said
Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last day should not harm his neighbor"
[Bukhari : 6475]

Besides, One should not scorn his/her neighbor. A narration in this regard is as follow
Sahih Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to say: "O Muslim women! No one should scorn the gift of a neighbor, even if it is (only) a sheep's foot"  [Bukhari : 6017]

A true Muslim should care his neighbor as much as a blood brother. He should not abuse or insult him and protect his property and wealth. Prophet said
"That man is not from me who sleeps contentedly while his neighborr sleeps hungry."
And
Abdullah Ibn Musawir narrated: "I heard Ibn Abbas mention Ibn Az-Zubair saying that he was a miser, then he said: I heard the messenger of Allah say: He is not a believer who eats his fill whilst his neighbor beside him goes hungry"
[Bukhari, op. cit, hadith no.112, al-Hakim, vol. 4, p 167 a similar report given by al-Bazzar, hadith no. 119]
Where as a hadith on loving the neighbor is as follows
Anas, may Allah be pleased with him narrated that he heard our noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, no man truly believes until he loves for his neighbor –or his brother- what he loves for himself"  [Muslim : Book 45 No 72]

The rights and love for neighbor should lies in a Muslim's heart. Prophet said
It is reported, on the authority of Ayesha (R.A.) and Ibn Umar (R.A.) that the messenger of Allah (PBUH) said "The Angel Jibra'il (A.S.) counseled me so frequently regarding the rights of the neighbor that I feared, he too would be declared an heir."

We Should not even stop our Neighbor from fixing a peg or doing something else
Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No-one should prevent his neighbor from fixing a wooden peg in his wall." Abu Huraira said (to his companions), "Why do I find you averse to it? By Allah, I certainly will narrate it to you."
(Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Book 43: Oppressions, Volume 3, Number 643)

So One Should
-Deal with him in a nice and friendly manner.
-Protect the honor of his wife and children.
-Occasionally you should send gifts to his house. Especially if he is poor. In such a case you should definitely send some food to him.
-Do not cause him any harm. Do not quarrel with him over trivial matters.

Did A Goat Ate Verse Of Quran?

Did A Goat Ate Verse Of Quran?

Like us on facebook:

Some Christians try to justify that some verses from Quran was lost when a goat ate verses of Quran. The narration regarding this is
Reported 'Aisha (RA): ‘the verse of stoning and of suckling an adult ten times was revealed, and they were (written) on a paper and kept under my pillow. When the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) expired and we were occupied by his death, a goat entered and ate away the paper.’ (Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith 1944)

Well some serious points needed to be concerned here

1- The Hadith does not come from a sound narration.
The particular chain given in Sunan Ibn Majah finds one of the narrators Muhammad bin Ishaq narrating it using the word عن ('an) which is rather an ambiguous way of narration and renders the narration weak when used by a narrator known for practicing Tadlis [practice of subtly missing a link] and Muhammad Ibn Ishaq is indeed such a narrator. Thus through particular chain of narration in Sunan Ibn Majah the narration is weak and unauthentic due the above mentioned defect though it has other issues as well as mentioned in the lines to follow. This is clarified by Shaykh Muhammad Taqi Usmani in Takmala Fath Al-Mulhim 1/69 pub. Darul Ahya Al-Turath Al-Arabi, Beirut.

2- The narration no way questions Qur’an infallibility:
Even if the narration were authentic it no way questions the claim of Qur’an being totally preserved and here are my evidences for this;
One of the two allegedly lost verses as per this narration was about stoning i.e. punishment of married adulterers but Quran already had a punishment for it in Quran 4:15-16
"And those of your women who commit illegal sexual intercourse, take the evidence of four witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them (i.e. women) to houses until death comes to them or Allah ordains for them some (other) way. And the two persons (man and woman) among you who commit illegal sexual intercourse, punish them both. And if they repent (promise Allah that they will never repeat, i.e. commit illegal sexual intercourse and other similar sins) and do righteous good deeds, leave them alone. Surely, Allah is Ever the One Who accepts repentance, (and He is) Most Merciful."

3- Generally when a verse was revealed it was written down not by one or two companions but at least seven or more then that. If a goat had eaten a verse of Quran there might had been other copies of similar verses at that time.

4- Many Prophets memorize the whole Quran even before its compilation. If such verse was revealed many have knew and memorize the verse

5- The hadith come from authority of Ibn Ishaq whose work is criticize for lack of understanding and sound narrations. See

Hurting Someone Or Abusing Him In Islam

Hurting Someone Or Abusing Him In Islam

Allah says in Quran
“O you who believe! Let not (one) people laugh at (another) people perchance they may be better than they, nor let women(laugh) at (other) women, perchance they may be better than they; and do not find fault with your own people nor call one another by nick names.” (Surah al-Hujurāt 49:11)

In Islam exposing a believer, taunting, mocking, cheating, lying or any other act that hurts him is strictly forbidden. Quran says that Allah will always those who believes
“...And helping the believers is ever incumbent on Us.”
(Surah ar-Rūm 30:47)

Such a believer who hurt sentiments of one another, trick or played him, find his fault or bad thing in him will have painful death and is reported to be of Satan if he is not shameless for his acts
The Messenger of Allah (S) says,
“Indeed Allah has not permitted Paradise for any shameless abuser who has no qualms about saying anything or what is being said to him, because if investigation is conducted he shall be found to be illegitimately born or Satan was involved in his origin”.
People asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah, how can Shaitan get a share in their birth?”
He (S) replied, “Have you not read the words of Allah,
‘(O Satan!) Share with them in wealth and children.”
(Surah al-‘Isrā’, 17:64)

Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) says,
“Cursing and abusing is from cruelty and cruelty is punishable by hell.”
(Al-Kāfi)

Even making a person angry is like making the Lord angry. In a narration we find that
The companions were very keen to remove any bad feelings from the hearts of their brothers towards them. `Aa’ith Ibn `Amr Al-Muzani reported: “Abu Sufyaan passed by Salmaan, Suhayb and Bilaal and some other Companions (after the conquest of Makkah, when he was still a disbeliever). They saidto him: "The swords of Allaah didnot exact their due from the foes of Allaah?'' Abu Bakr said to them: "Do you speak like this to the chief of the Quraysh and their master?'' Then he went to the Prophet and related this to him. He said: "O Abu Bakr! Perhaps you have angered them. If so, you have angered your Lord”. Abu Bakr rushed back to them and said: "O my brothers! Did I offend you?'' They replied: "No. May Allaah forgive you, brother”. [Muslim]

One should not find faults in the believer
Imam Baqir (a.s.) and Imam Sadiq (a.s.) have said,
“The deed that brings one very close to infidelity is that a person considers someone his brother in faith but he keeps track of his defects and misdeeds so that one day he can use them to criticise the believer.”
(Al-Kāfi Vol. 2 page 354)

Abusing a believer or hurting him is a great sin in Islam and is similar to to throwing oneself in destruction. Islam promotes respect and peace
The Messenger of Allah (S) said,
“Abusing a believer is like throwing oneself into destruction.”
(Al-Kāfi Vol. 2 page 359)

Allah says in Quran
“They who taunt those of the faithful who give their alms freely, and those who give to the extent of their earnings and scoff at them; Allah will pay them back their scoffings and they shall have a painful chastisement.”
(Surah at-Tawba 9:79)

A hadith in this regard is as follows
Abu Hurayrah who reported that the Prophet said: “You will not enter Paradise until you believe, and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I guide to that which would make you love one another? Spread greetings (Salaam) abundantly amongst yourselves” [Muslim]

So one should not
- Hurt a believer
- Mock or abuse him
- Find faults in him
- Taunt him, give him inflict, should not even force him for something bad or evil
- Trick, play or lie to him and control his tongue as to avoid hurting other
- And should Love the believe
May Allah guide us. Amen

Why Are Most Muslims Terrorists?

Are Most Muslims Terrorist?

This question is often hurled at Muslims, either directly or indirectly.
No Muslims are not terrorists. It is the biased media that always target the Muslim community for terror because of lack of information about Islam. If all Muslims were terrorists then there would have been no Non-Muslim in the entire Arab land where as there are more then 14 million of them in Arab. The media always tag the religion Islam with the culprit if he is a Muslim man. Why the media not tag the religion when it comes to terrorist such as Anders Breivik, David Paul Hammer, Daniel Andreas, Michael Bray, Etc. The bias media never show the crimes against Muslims happened in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Palestine, Burma, etc.

A case in point is the anti-Muslim campaign in US media following the Okhlama bomb blast, where the press was quick to declare "Middle Eastern conspiracy" behind the attack. The culprit was later identified as a soldier from American Armed Forces
Tell me if a Christians commits an act of terror will you blame his religion or the people of Christianity or the man?

Read the FBI suggesting
The least Number of Attacks were by Muslims
And Terrorism In Europe :
Muslims attacks contribute 0.4%, the least of all

Is Allah A Moon God?

Is Allah A Moon God?

Bismillah Hir Rehman Ir Raheem
Start In the Name Of Allah The Most Beneficent The Most Merciful

Like us on facebook:

One of the famous question that Non-Muslims asked is that is Allah a moon God?
There is no such thing or proof with in the Quran itself. Where as Allah states in Quran
"It is He who made the sun a shining light and the moon a derived light and determined for it phases - that you may know the number of years and account [of time]. Allah has not created this except in truth. He details the signs for a people who know" [Surah 10:5]

However, some may ask the importance of moon in Islam and why?. Allah answers in Quran
They ask you about the new moons. Say: These are signs to mark fixed periods of time for mankind and for the pilgrimage [Quran 2:189]

And finally this verse refutes all arguments of Non-Muslims baseless claims
"And of His signs are the night and day and the sun and moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon, but prostate to Allah , who created them, if it should be Him that you worship." [Quran 41:37]

Non-Muslims does not proof Allah being a Moon God from sources of Quran and authentic Hadiths

Who Is Muhmmad? Is He God?

Who Is Muhmmad? Is He God?

Bismillah Hir Rehman Ir Raheem
Start In the Name Of Allah The Most Beneficent The Most Merciful

Like us on facebook:

Muhammad PBUH is no more then a messenger of Allah and seal of Prophets. In Islamic view Muhammad PBUH was send down to preach Islam, religion of Allah. Quran states
"Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets; and Allah is ever Aware of all things." [Quran 33:40]

Prophet Muhammad PBUH said in his own words
Narrated 'Umar: "I heard the Prophet saying, 'Do not exaggerate in praising me as the Christians praised the son of Mary, for I am only a Slave. So, call me the Slave of Allah and His Apostle." [Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Prophets, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 654]

Thus Muhammad is not a God nor a part of him. He is only a Messenger of Allah. Quran states
"Say: "Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, but if you turn away, he (Messenger Muhammad SAW) is only responsible for the duty placed on him (i.e. to convey Allah's Message) and you for that placed on you. If you obey him, you shall be on the right guidance. The Messenger's duty is only to convey (the message) in a clear way (i.e. to preach in a plain way)." [Muhsin Khan Translation, Quran 24:54]

"Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman." [Muhsin Khan Translation 52:29]
